BTW I don’t mean it in a bad way saying Parsons jumped ship because I know he loves Penn St I’m just saying he didn’t play this year for whatever reason. Saying jumping ship just sounds bad. I need to say he decided not to play. I’ll pull for Parsons just like I do all the other Penn St players in the NFL
@tsuga it’s a possibility he could be on the short list of coaching changes. But I like what Southern said. We need more D Line pressure. Losing our D Line coach to the Giants hurt us. I run into John Richie from time to time. And he always has high praise for Mike Zordich Sr. He is at Michigan and I believe he is a safeties coach. And I’m sure changes may be coming at that school soon. Plus Franklin has said he keeps list on upcoming talent for coaching. Maybe he has some candidates in my mind for the corners and safeties .

Burn that list and start over!! That list hasn't been doing much good lately.

He jumped ship.
I'd try to bring Sean Lee in as an LB coach.
Sean Lee is still playing for the Cowboys.
My prediction is Pry will not get fired but will move on to another coaching offer.

I hope Franklin encourages him, kinda have the talk.
@rip. Navylion is probably right he’ll leave on his own. He needs a change just like don brown from Michigan needs a new stop. Both are good DC’s sometimes things go south and don’t work out and IMO that’s what happened to both of these 2 good DC’s
Masten's comment made me think of something. We use to have a PSU Insider with us in this forum, a Mr. Bill Murray! Has anyone seen or heard from him recently? I know he got a bump at his HS Football page and now has way more responsibilities than he had ... but I haven't seen him since at least last year.
On coaching changes you all are discussing. I mentioned this last year and I saw no change happen - but the Cornerbacks and Safeties have 2 different coaches. This amatuer seems to think if they were coached by one person - in the same meetings together, working closer with each other, that this could improve our secondary play. And by freeing up one coach, the team could hire an actual LB coach for the team, instead of Pry having to do that on top of being the DC. Just my two cents and they are going right back into my pocket.

We all saw him over the summer when he kept telling us that everything was fine, football would start on time, and there would be full stadiums. Anyone who disagreed with him was stupid, didn't understand statistics like he did, wasn't an insider like him, and was mocked and called a sheep for not believing COVID was just a bad Flu.
He left when the college football season went south, and hasn't been heard from since. I think some in here lost respect for him because of it. Not because of his opinion, but his complete dismissal and mockery of anyone who disagreed... then ghosting.

And then you called him out by calling him pathetic for not admitting he was wrong.

Wow, so many interesting things in that statement...
1 I don't believe I called him pathetic, but I probably did say it was pathetic to spew nonsense, misconceptions, or outright lies in a forum, attack people who won't agree with you, and then ghost the forum when you see you were wrong. I mean, that is pathetic so if I said that... fine.
2. Interesting that a person who said he only arrived here to post at the end of October somehow knows of things from 6 months ago. LMAO.

@bobs-dimpled-chin Everyone has opinions but I liked Bill's insight of the team, maybe if he still is around them he would have some insight as to what the divisions were in the team.
I miss him on this forum too. He had some terrific insights in both college and hs football. Haaving met him at least 3 times, he really is good guy. Maybe its this dam virus. It nearly took away the thing murray holds dear to his heart.
@lakerie. Good point lake I know I’m sick of this coronavirus hopefully the vaccine will be here soon and we can all get back to normal lives. I liked Murray as well the dude knows football but we have quite a few here that knows their stuff Murray added a lot of recruiting nuggets. Because of this coronavirus he might be more busier and that’s why he ain’t chimed in. Everybody here makes this a great Penn State football forum.
My issue with what happened was he always told people he was a football expert and we should listen to him, but when talking about COVID he completely dismissed experts and said they didn't know anything or were lying. I guess that's the part of it that bothered me most.
It's not like I hate the guy though, I would have talked or argued with him about football stuff if he was still here. Lots of people in my lifetime have done things that I disagreed with or found distasteful, and me to them as well... doesn't mean we never spoke with each other again or weren't still friends. It happens.
@roaminglion. Roam, that’s why I listen to doctor Fauci he’s the expert and if I die listening to him, it is what it is. It’s easy for me to listen to the experts lol BTW I beginning to think you were right about A&M

It's gonna be tough for A&M to get in, they need Alabama to beat Florida in the championship and hop enough other teams lose.
Though if OSU has another game cancelled they may not qualify to be in it? Who knows, this year is weird.

I thought what I heard was if TOSU doesn't play their next 2 games they are out of the Big 10 championship game. If what I heard was correct, does that mean by missing the Big 10 championship they don't qualify for the national championship? It really is a wierd year.
