Probably just time to mix it up with someone else I guess, maybe a way to fight a "letdown" game between Michigan and Ohio State.

No shock to me. 11 - 11 the past 2 seasons = a non competitive whiteout vs OSU wouldn't be good when you're trying to rebuild.

The whiteout has lost a lot of it's luster over the years, playing teams with superior talent and or coaching staffs isn't the way to get it back. Smart move by the administration deciding to play a program more on our level.

My proposal for the Buckeyes game is a "Coach Out". Let Franklin join the new AD and watch the game from a luxury box and turn the coaching over to his coordinators. I'll bet Yurcich knows how to manage the clock!
Thought this would interest everyone as a possible (and likely) reason the without isn't going to be Ohio State this year. Apparently it's almost a lock that the OSU v. PSU game will be a afternoon game, probably a noon kickoff. The reason is the World Series schedule, and since Fox has the rights to this year's game they would put it earlier in the day. Fox could not and would not want to move the World Series out of the primetime slot.
It's not a lock that the World Series would play that day, but since the game time has to be set well ahead of time, and because of Fox's new "Big Noon Kickoff" show, it makes perfect sense. This is why the made the game a stripeout instead, and named Minnesota as the whiteout as that game is already announced as a 7:30 kickoff.
I don't care if Penn State plays the Buckeyes in a White out, Stripe out or Coaches Sit out.....I just want the Lions to play LIGHT OUTS and Ohio State to get KNOCKED OUT of Beaver Stadium!
