I would still expect him to not play this weekend but this video was shot today at practice. I'd also expect this reporter to have his press pass revoked.

Another angle to show he is not just throwing short passes.

Did Clifford always wear a knee brace? Was that the nature of his injury? I thought it was a shoulder or rib.
Lake, I wondered the same thing. Is this video from today?? If so, Central PA is way behind in their fall color. Are trees are almost bare up our way and yours havent even colored up yet. Strange
2.9 thousand views and 13.1 thousand views...and he thought nobody cared.

Trees still have leaves here. Just turning colors. Acorns are falling fast. I noticed the Acorns last weekend when I had a fire 🔥 going.
Hope the kid is healing and ready for the OSU game. I would let Roberson and other QB take turns Saturday. Let him heal up for OSU. Saturday is a good practice
@tsuga With the hot/wet last 1/2 of our summer, our sugar maples got some kind of leaf fungus, so they're dropping/dropped off green. Haven't had the cool nights to get the chlorophyll in the other trees to degrade. lol Although the poison ivy and staghorn sumac were nice though.
Typically they're peak here for my birthday, not even close this year.
Illinois beat Nebraska and lost to Purdue 13-9 I don’t think we should sit him if he can play we are a different team if Clifford isn’t on the field. Get a lead then sit him unless he just can’t go. We can’t afford to lose another game. If he’s injured let him sit don’t take a chance but if he’s just beat up he needs to play.

Illinois is a 2-5 team. Penn state will dismantle them. It will be more like a mid season blue and white game. Penn state will do whatever they want.
@forum-titan I agree if Clifford plays but the game will be close if he doesn’t play. I believe we still win but it will be closer than you might think.
I agree, we can't afford to lose another game. Still, I'd start Roberson or Mr.V and see how they do. If they look good and we build a comfortable lead early, rest Cliff. If they struggle, put in Cliff if he can play. Either way, don't wait too long and by all means don't let the game get away! Just my "if I were coach" thoughts for what they're worth.
According to this, he's not playing
Roberson needs reps.
Wonder what Clifford's injury really was. He seems to be moving and throwing pretty well, so thinking it wasn't back or ribs. lol But then he is still pretty young and heals quicker than us over the hill guys.
If we lose to Illinois without our #1 QB, we weren't a top ten team anyway.
They are 2-5, we should beat them regardless.
@roaminglion we should win the game but it won’t be a cakewalk. College football has got just like the NFL, how good is your QB. We both know Clemson has top notch talent they just missed on a QB and they’re paying the price for it. You give Clemson one of the Georgia QB’s and they’re probably undefeated right now. I ain’t seen all the QB’s play this year but from what I have seen Clifford is a top 5 QB from what I’ve seen with eyes. Hopefully Roberson got some good snaps in practice these last couple of weeks and he feels comfortable out there but I’m hoping our defense steps it up this Saturday.

After Bielema threw his entire team under the bus earlier this week and said they weren't good enough it will be interesting to see if they even have a desire to play for him. I wouldn't be surprised if they quit and this game isn't competitive from the start.

Nah, I disagree. Iowa's QB sucks and they are 5-1, they've won without good QB play.
Miami went out and got a good QB in King, and still suck. Rattler at Oklahoma was great last year, now he sucks? Doubtful. Oklahoma doesn't have the offense around him now (TCU's defense is awful so the new QB didn't exactly do much in that regard). Michigan doesn't have a great QB and they are winning, North Carolina's QB was a Heisman candidate before the season started and they are a mess too.
It's just easy to blame or credit a QB, but it's a team game.
@roaminglion Go watch the Iowa game again
