Ga Tech needs to fire Geoff Collins tonight and beg Scott Frost to become the head coach starting tomorrow. I thought this dude was going to be good but he’s been nothing but garbage. He’s destroyed my Yellow Jackets 🐝 🤬

My condolences, Southern, but I  don't think Frost is the answer.

In one of the most crazy stats I've ever seen, Scott frost has coached 6 seasons as a head coach and only has a winning record in 1 of them. The year he went undefeated

@rip  I think frost will fit right in at Tech. It’s hard to recruit at Nebraska but Georgia is absolutely loaded with talent. When frost had talent like he did at C Florida he won. It can’t get any worse than Collins bk he’s ruined Ga Tech football 😢

The Rambling Wreck!!!

Yeah, Collins has really wrecked that team. GT should at least be a solid 7-8 win team/year.

Bring Bobby Petrino as HC.

@psu61  absolutely not my brother, that scumbag left my Falcons overnight and didn’t even tell the team he was quitting. Bobby Patrino is everything that’s wrong coaches, he’s a backstabbing scumbag coach this dude makes Barry Switzer look like a saint 😂

GT could possibly make a run at Jeff Monken. He's got deep roots in Georgia, coached under former GT head coach Paul Johnson, and has done very well at Army... which is EXTREMELY hard to recruit for so he knows how to get guys to a place with high academic standards.

He's also the cousin of Georgia's OC, so that would certainly add something to the rivalry LMAO

@mtnittanylion.  You coached at Susquehannock??

My father played football against him. He and BT agree with one another.

@roaminglion   GT should’ve fired the dude last year. Collins didn’t do crap and I can’t figure out how they signed him to a seven year contract when he ain’t done chit to get a deal like that. As for Army I don’t think they want to get involved in the triple option anymore. Scott Frost would be my first choice because he will be able to recruit in Atlanta. He won’t out recruit Georgia but he’ll do much better than Nebraska plus I believe he’ll fit in good in the ACC. Man Collins just didn’t get it done he stunk up the field. 10-28 smh

Scott Frost has only had 1 winning season in 6 years as a head coach. Not sure why that gives you confidence.

Frost?  Really.  A little research and i read a suggestion that losing at N may have been correlated to a lack of work ethic, accountability etc.  The 'consistently late' is verifiable.  I would expect that GTECH has plenty of options and would do its due diligence with respect to the post firing info/rumours.

Losing close games consistently has a cause.  You just can't lose that many close games by accident.  PSU did better without scholarships.

Nebraska really wanted to love its home town boy.  Why would GTECH want him?

I want GTech to go back to that triple option.  Or give up on education 😎

@roaminglion   I’ll take my chances to get rid of the chit that’s been there for the last 4 years. I believe he’ll recruit good enough to get GT back winning the ACC.

The chit that's been there is already gone, both the AD and coach is fired. So there's no need to rush into anything.

Someone give Deion a call!

Will be interesting to see if or when Deon will jump to D1 ball. The man may actually have a calling at HBCUs. IMO, he has done a fantastic job and the peripheral teaching/mentoring that he provides would be worth the cost of admission for some of those young kids who attend regardless of where they are from.

Back in March he said that where he is at now is a calling, but "God didn't give him a timetable". IMO that's him saying if the right oppurtunity arose, he'd take it. That very well may mean he would leave for Georgia Tech, as he could view that opening as God calling him back to the ATL. He had a ton of success there, and inspired a lot of people. It would be a huge pulpit for him to preach, especially to young black men. It's clear that is a priority for him, to help his community by insiring them to greater things. What better place to do it at one of the preeminent academic instutions in the USA, which happens to be right in his old sandlot.
