For Pittsburgh. 40% chance of showers during afternoon and evening hours. Penn State originally was pegged as 2 TD favorite. Well, we know the odds changed to being a 9 point favorite. Add the weather conditions and playing in a hostile environment. Sounds like it can be a repeat of Saturday.
Sounds like wishful thinking Pipe...The outcome of this ballgame will have nothing to do with the weather...The bottom line is Penn State is the better team, has the better players and more depth...The outcome of this ballgame will be determined by how much these young ballplayers for Penn State improve and learn from last weeks ballgame...The shortcomings outside of the right tackle issue were due to mental breakdowns and lack of experience rather than a lack of talent or athleticism...My experience in athletics tells me that we should see a much improved Penn State ballclub this Saturday evening as I expect to see considerable improvement from these young ballplayers due to learning from the mistakes made last week...I don't anticipate seeing the volume of blown coverages, bad reads and poor tackling that we saw last week...If we see a repeat of last weeks performance then you would be correct in assuming that this week will be a repeat of last week...I don't anticipate that and my athletic experience tells me we will see a much improved Penn State ballclub this Saturday evening...I can assure you that unless we see a monsoon the weather will have no affect on the outcome of this ballgame...
