@psujoe  we have to get wins against Ohio St, Oregon, Michigan and teams like ND all the other teams we’re pretty much dominating. When we lose and the other team is a little better I can understand but losing to Oregon and ND last year stings because we had the better team imo. The ND loss really stinks…fudge ND

Not only the loss on the field, but poaching our RB coach & the recent recruiting losses stink as well.  The POX on ND!

Finally, Penn State got some good news on the recruiting trail.

Four-star tight end Pierce Peteroshn of Triton High School in Minnesota committed to Penn State. The 6-5 athlete plays quarterback currently, but with his basketball background, he projects well to tight end at the next level.

TE U baby…good news 😁

After a winding journey that led to a cherished April commitment, things have changed once again for a top Penn State recruit.

Four-star Nazareth quarterback Peyton Falzone flipped his commitment from the Nittany Lions to Auburn on Thursday. At 6-4 and 200 pounds, Falzone is the nation’s No. 18 quarterback and Pennsylvania’s sixth-best prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Making some noise beating a couple of heavyweights this year will get some momentum back. Find a way to win instead of finding ways to lose. Lot of great coaches have gone through the same thing so it can be done. I’m talking  heavyweight wins not the Iowa’s.

@southern-psu-fan Falzone has time to flip and/or portal a few more times before he actually plays anywhere.

@been-there-ii oh yeah but I believe we have the better QB that’s still committed. We’ve lost out on some highly touted recruits in the last few weeks and it could be about money. I saw something that’s fans could join where the money goes to the athletes but I don’t know if it’s a scam and you know I’m always on the alert for deceivers and scammers 😂

81, you started this thread and we’re on 3 pages now and I hear you say you probably won’t start another thread? This baby got the fire 🔥 to it and we’ve pretty much stayed on point.

Make that two big-time commitments for Penn State on Friday.

2026 three-star offensive lineman Jack Fuchs (pronounced like “books”) committed to the Nittany Lions. His decision came just about two hours after that of four-star defensive end Jackson Ford.

Just curious how a 3* commit qualifies as "big time"?

@roaminglion  the dude chose Penn St over SC, Kentucky, GT Ole Miss and a few other decent football teams so he’s probably is a good get. We will see.

Huhn Committed before Falzone. Our 2026 class is sinking faster than the Titanic.

2 more months my good friends and we’ll see some Penn St football and see how good James Franklin has been recruiting because there will be some new players at different positions. I’m feeling a little better about the Oregon game  with the stud RB’s we got coming back we should be able to control the line of scrimmage. We get 3 good practice games before the whiteout. It’s race day in Atlanta baby and ole southern is headed out for tonight’s race. Life is good 😊 🇺🇸🍺 how sweet it is. Thank you JESUS!

Why are offers from SC, Kentucky, and GT a big deal? Or Ole Miss?

None of those schools has ever made a BCS or Playoff game.

I'm thinking Ol' Traut knows what he doing. I can't remember too many of our O line being 4 or 5 stars, but they seem to have turned out fairly well.

I agree with BT.  IMO Traut has been doing a real good job developing what he has.  After all, isn't it the purpose of coaching to turn good gets into great gets?

You specifically stated he was a "big-time commitment" - I always thought someone who was big-time meant a great get... I guess big-time means something different to you. All good.
