Clifford had a great game. He may have avoided that INT and had another long completion had he managed to move the safety 2 steps to the middle.
He was on target and reasonably quick so I don't feel like he was getting huge time although the line was getting average or better protection. The balanced run attack helped.

Could it be possible that Penn State was just too talented and prepared for them? Maryland certainly wasn't putrid when they pummeled Syracuse were they? Well, we will find out if they have a NC caliber defense soon. Even if they went 12-0, they would most likely be overlooked because of their weak schedule. Just read yesterday that their ranking remains the same.

I also understand that the B1G just can't compete and isn't isn't in the same class the SEC but then who is... They have 3 or 4 teams that could compete in the NFL and Bama may even be an NFL playoff team...I say put 3 SEC teams in the playoffs with Clemson and shut down the season...
