Have you heard anything in regards to what's going on in our WR room?? Im hearing rumors that there's a rift and as many as 6 may be shown the door at season's end. I seem to remember that you usually have some accurate inside info in regards to PSU football.

The only information Joe has comes from watching podcasts and parroting it back on this forum. When I was in my 30s I was amazed at how much more everybody seemed to know about football when we talked about it each Monday. Then one week I watched the ESPN final football show on Sunday night and found out that everyone was just parroting what was said on that Sunday night show.
I haven’t heard anything about that but have been wondering what’s up a few kids that aren’t seeing the field. Where’s Ivey from Manheim Twp? He was highly touted coming in.

@psugrad81: So? I may have used a poor choice of words saying "inside info" but what does it matter if someone listens to a podcast and returns and reports it here? He and I have butted heads in the past but the man is generally spot on in his assessments. In fact, he sometimes prefaces his comments with "I was listening to a podcast" or "I heard this on a podcast" etc.
@t-hale PSU81 is my #1 fan LOL. A year or so ago he promised not to read my posts or respond to them because I ripped into to him for arguing that wins and losses don’t matter.
I forgot about Clifford, they were raving about him during the summer. For a while now it’s been my personal opinion that there’s going to be a mass exodus this offseason.
@t-hale Do coaches tell kids to leave if they see they might not be panning out? I actually thought Clifford was pretty good, he definitely catches the football.
@southern-psu-fan : I'm pretty sure all coaches give "the talk" to any players that aren't panning out.

So technically everyone "agreed" to 1 year of free education. So if they portal out at the end of the year they did what they agreed to.

@roaminglion that’s a good point Roam. I do remember a few years back that South Carolina was giving 4 year scholarships and they were like the first university to jump on that and if I remember correctly others started it as well then you didn’t hear anything else about it so does that mean it wasn’t working out? This stuff is way over my head but I remember South Carolina and the sports news making a big deal about? Maybe I didn’t hear it lol

I hope Singleton hits the portal. Trey Potts probably could have easily matched his production this year. Allen has looked like the better back all season and every time Allen gets hot they shift to Singleton.
I hope we find a passing game, because no matter who we have at RB it wont matter if we cant pass
Atleast the threat of a mobile QB opened up some lanes for these RBs. Were in trouble heading into next season with the loss of. KLS, who’s our best receiver Tyler Warren? Not a great place to be with the conference expanding. Hopefully JOMO can work some magic and we get some nice portal acquisitions if not probably going to be a long year next year.

@kularrow if Jomo is the man, we will be ready. When you replace your starting QB it’s a rebuilding year with the offense. I’m comparing this team in 2023 with the 1995 team replacing Kerry Collins from the 1994 team. Wallet Richardson was an okay QB but the rest of the team were studs including Curtis Enis. The QB in 1995 struggled imo and that’s what lead to 3 losses. Enis and Pitts were 2 good RB’s and the defense was very good. You always hear ole southern say, how good is your QB because if you struggle at QB you’ll struggle to win even if the rest of the team is stacked. Just find a way to win till you fix the QB position and some of the wins will be ugly but it’s better than losing. Just win baby!
