I remembered....actually I looked it up and THEN I remembered. It was a $5 million endowment gifted by Pat and Candy Malloy. I met these folks a time or two and they are or were staunch supporters of the program. I'm not even sure if they're still living.
Simply put, its called the Malloy Paterno Head Football Coach Endowment.
