@roaminglion. One of our DE’s goes in the first round and the other one will get drafted I’m wondering why we couldn’t get to the QB last year even without Parsons. Hopefully it’s just one of those years but I’m telling ya it doesn’t look good. Hopefully pry will figure it out. 2 in the first round is great news I’ll be pulling for ‘em
If they were drafting for a DC, I bet Pry would still be on the board!

I’m seeing 11 or 12 wins this year I’m not doom and gloom I’m just saying when we have 2 DE’s get drafted and one goes in the first round and we couldn’t get any pressure on the QB James Franklin better find out why or it probably won’t get any better. I do believe we got some good players in the transfer portal but I don’t know if they’ll be as good as what we lost. I like Brent Pry and I’m hoping we come out on defense and kill it this year but I have a feeling we’ll be out scoring teams but as long as we win I’m good with it lol
It's not Pry that I don't like, it's some of the questionable defensive schemes he calls that leave me scratching my head. I can't comment on the transfer portal 'cause I don't follow the comings and goings (it's my personal hang up - pretending it doesn't exist, LOL). I'm with you as far as 11 or 12 wins. I really think we'll see a rejuvenated offense with our new OC.
@rip. The college game may be going through a change where the defense is a step behind because it’s not like Alabama has had a great defense the last few years they’ve just scored more points than the teams they’ve played. The QB’s in college are lighting it up today just look at all the QB’s that went in the first round in the NFL draft. QB play has been great in college the last 10 years.
Hope Cliff follows the trend & goes with the crowd.

Hey, even Nicky is predicting "10 wins at most". I think that's the highest win total I have seen him ever predicted for PSU. Must be we're going to have a damn good season this year.
@been-there-ii. I believe we have a great chance to win the big 10 BT. Clifford will light it up this year because we will have some experience RB’s to help carry the load and the WR’s might be the best we’ve ever had. My goodness the speed at WR it’s going to be nasty

O line had been improving a bit every year. If that trend continues, I think we'll finally be a pretty good offensive team again.

IDK. Hard to say. Things are changing. One fan I know claims yurich is going to light the offense on fire. Other tells me if opponents want to know his style of offense they can just watch game films. I'm hearing what sounds like loss of confidence from the fans I know personally. Seems like this arose post spring practice. Things are narrowing down now and more projections are coming out. They have a tough road game as an opener. Auburn is 50/50. Ball state can't be taken lightly. Returning MAC champion with 24 Returning from last year. QB for ball state is good. I understand 2020 was a horrible season with covid. With less than 120 days more pieces of the puzzle are hitting the table. It's a tough schedule right from the start.

Most of Sorryexcuse's LAX team came back this year, so they could rightfully claim to be National Champs...since they didn't get to play for the championship last year. Therefore, most of Orange Nation, were absolutely sure they'd be #1 all season and be crowned the 2021 season champs. Not seeming to be working out well for them.
So let's ignore what everyone thinks and/or feels and play ball!

I absolutely agree. Play the games. I was just elaborating like every other sports fan in the world. What I don't like are the excuses that come attached if you know what I mean. Let's hope not hearing the famous we have a new OC, might take a few years to adjust, remnants of covid, spring game wasn't in our favor, transfer portal. 2021 doesn't count. Let's also hope the new OC doesn't mysteriously get fired.. Wish penn state all the luck.
@forum-titan lol Yeah, there's always an excuse from someone, somewhere, if "their" team loses. Fans can say what they want, bottom line, the record book doesn't allow for very many asterisks.
