just read an article on fansided and it has this rivalry between Penn St and Pitt ranked #6 all time as the most underrated. It ranked the top 25 and this rivalry is at #6. Honestly, I'd love to see the ACC work with the Big Ten and Big 12 to bring back two rivalries.
Not for us and Pitt, but for Pitt and West Virginia. We'd play Syracuse. It would be cool to see those two games played every year, just like UGA v. GT / Clemson v. South Carolina / etc.
Unfortunately it won't happen, especially since the institution of 9 conference games.
I will never forget the PSU vs Pitt game in 1972. It was so cold. I had an Army greatcoat on and my girlfriend was sitting on my lap inside the coat as well. And the game was okay as well.
