- Seems to me everywhere you go you are having to pay to read anything in sports. Maybe it’s just the websites I like. You can start reading but to finish the articles you have to be a paying subscription. But be be honest I don’t travel that far out of here maybe espn and pennlive and to read their stuff you have to pay.
Personally I like CBS Sports website and their app and so far it’s free. If they decide to charge I’ll go somewhere else.
I second this, I use the app to check scores and it's great.Personally I like CBS Sports website and their app and so far it’s free. If they decide to charge I’ll go somewhere else.
Everything has to be 'MONETIZED'. Subscription, Advertisement, Gov't ... even the Youtubers do their best to monetize. In the old days we paid for a newspaper but they also sold advertisements.
I hate when whatever search sends me to an interesting article only to find out I can read the teaser.
@underlion I’d always buy the USA and Atlanta journal papers and take the sports pages out and throw the rest of it away before I walked out of the store. 😂 Tony Barnhart always did the sports in the Atlanta paper I loved reading what that dude always had to say he did it all especially college football.
Mr. College football Tony Barnhart and the king of college football Chuck Oliver them 2 dudes knew college football baby.
