Just read he made the college football Hall of Fame. Dude had a really good career. Won NC’s at Ga Southern, was beating ND coaching at Navy and played for 3 ACC championship winning one at Ga Tech. He also beat the Dawgs a couple of times something Ohio St can’t do 😁🏈 congratulations Paul, you did good!
Just another ACC nobody that hardly anyone has ever heard of.
ACC sucks.

Homer, you a hard man to please lol dude won almost 200 games |
That’s also the 4th coach from Ga Tech to make the college football hall of fame, not to bad. Gotta do something to get this team back to winning hopefully Brent Key will get it done I’m feeling pretty good about him.
Narduzzi and Penn State coach James Franklin apparently had similar thoughts about each other’s teams in the final Coaches Poll of the season. No coach had the Rose Bowl champion Lions lower than Narduzzi did at No. 13, while Franklin left the Panthers out of his top 25 all together. Notably, Franklin listed UCLA No. 21 despite the Bruins losing to Pitt in the Sun Bowl.
Y’all see this lol it’s on pennlive
@southern-psu-fan I’ve never been impressed with ACC football and probably never will be. Maryland was a conference power LOL.
The schools in that conference should have stayed focused on basketball, they were actually good at that.
@psujoe when Bobby Ross and Ralph Freidgen was at Maryland together they won the ACC 3 times then they moved on to Ga Tech and brought George O’Leary in to run the defense and they won the NC and I believe all 3 of went to the Chargers and made it to the Super Bowl then O’Leary and Freidgen went back to GT and had some great seasons they even shared an ACC championship with Florida St. man that was 3 good coaches but I’m a little biased towards ‘em because of the GT years. I agree with you though the ACC isn’t that great of a conference in football the last few years but they have won their fair share of NC’s the last 40 years but it’s usually just 2 or 3 teams that’s good the rest probably below average. You’re probably right about the ACC in football. Most of Ga Tech’s great years in football was in the SEC. With the school work it’s hard to win at Ga Tech you gotta have the perfect coach or it ain’t going to work. I didn’t realize Paul Johnson graduated 86% of his players that’s pretty dang good.
