Good luck getting Brohm, who is royalty at his alma mater, to leave Louisville.

All about the money Roam...Whoever they target is going to get a huge pay day...You can say that about any coach they target with the exception of Rhule...

Brohm will never even sniff a NC at Louisville maybe not even a ACC championship but yes turning down 10 - 12 million dollars, Penn State’s resources, a step up in conference play to stay at your Alma mater seems plausible.

While I don’t agree with this completely but it makes sense Cig would stay at IU, if he keeps on pace he could very well find himself in National Championship contention. As for Brohm, there’s ZERO chance. Every Head Coach’s goal should be to win a National Championship especially someone like Brohm who has shined at against Top 5 teams, to say unqualified statements like they know personally where his loyalty lies is absurd. If Brohm wants to win it all and Penn State calls he should answer unless he’s happy coaching the place he went to college at until that’s run it course and he’ll look back with regret he could have had a top job and turned it down. I don’t see it but I’m not going to pretend I know him

I don't pretend to know him either...I find it all but implausible that he would turn down the money and opportunity to coach a top program like Penn State...I say this about everybody with the exception of 5 or 6 coaches...If he would turn down such an opportunity then he isn't a guy I would want at the helm because as a competitor you would want that challenge if you were fortunate enough to be offered such a lucrative and prestigious opportunity...

Why exactly wouldn't he sniff the NC? The ACC has had Clemson and FSU win titles and they have an expanded playoff now where getting in is easier than ever.

Money isn't everything, why leave a place you love just for more money? Some people don't, I'm sure Paterno had offers to leave for more money but didn't. Actually, I am certain of it.

That is such horseshit. You are basically saying a guy who is the coach at a Power 5 program, at his alma mater, which is harder to recruit to is "scared" to take on a "challenege" where he'd have more resources and it would be easier?

Yeah, what a scared non-competetor. What, do you think he is staying at Louisville because he is scared of the Big Ten? LMAO, he took Purdue to a conference title game in the Big... he knows how to win.

Why is it you think people all think Penn State is some holier than thou amazing opportunity that no one can pass up? I got news for you, there are many people out there who couldn't care less about us.

All that is telling us is Kraft should make the guy a priority. Money rules.

To be clear I am not saying he won't come here, but man some of us have to stop acting like every coach should bow down and genuflect in our direction like it's a blessing to be offered our HC gig, and if they don't take it they weren't "worthy"

Making the playoffs in the ACC and making a deep run at a NC are two different things ask SMU. FSU that got throttled 63-3 by Georgia after going 13-0. Clemson who is basically dead now that NIL and Portal have changed CFB and these were your traditional programs in the ACC, not a basketball school like Louisville. Sure perhaps Louisville could be the next IU nothing is impossible.

@roaminglion

Yes he did, several I believe.  The closest we came to losing him was to the New England Patriots.  At the last minute, he turned the job down.
