You can already see Ohio State's offense is not used to a defense like Michigan State's. One series in and I haven't seen Ohio State look that uncomfortable this year.

luckily we get both of these teams in the back half of our games, either our offensive line will be ready or they won't

They seem to have decided that Fields needs to run some to stay balanced.

MSU needs to catch the ball!
You beat Ohio State like you beat any good football team...You need to establish A gap pressure and contain...Their QB don't like pressure in his face and you need to keep contain while you get the pressure in his face...Michigan State has a very physical defense but I don't see the speed to the ball that PSU has on defense....
I think we can beat OSU. Our defense is better than MSUs. It will be a good one. No reason to be scared. Just need to punch them in the mouth once or twice early.
If we keep improving, I think we'll hold our own against MSU and carry the day. Not too sure about OSU though, they look pretty good all around. If we can get to Fields early and hit him in the mouth a few times, we may just have a chance. The Suckeyes look to be the cream of the crop.

These runs that Dobbins is getting are because MSU is running themselves out of the play...There is no gap control...
They are running off the right tackle cause inexplicably MSU doesn't have a player in that gap...Unreal....
Ohio State looks like a really good football team. If Penn State played them next weekend I think it would come down to line play. Whoever can get to the other teams QB would win it. Fields looks like a better and more elusive runner than Clifford but Clifford may be a slightly be a slightly better passer. Â
Having said all that so much can happen between now and when we play them that it’s probably not worth thinking about. Both teams could get better or worse, injuries etc... PSU has a heck of a stretch coming out and the month of October is going to shape this team for better or for worse.

The one thing that jumps out at me regarding Ohio State is they are a poor tackling team...They don't tackle well or at least they haven't tonight...
I also don't think their defense is as good as Penn State's...Ohio State can be had...

The key to stopping Ohio State is keeping Fields contained...You can't allow him to break contain...The defense must remain disciplined and you can frustrate him...
Notice on that interception....Pressure up the middle in his face and they had contain...That's how you beat Ohio State...
