I'm thinking this young man was never truly committed... This also my have to do with the OT they just had commit.
Nice thing is we have 5 current commits at OL. Would have been nice to get him, but our recruiting class is pretty stocked there currently
Tough loss--he was one of the better commits of the class. But, it happens.

I agree with you 100%...
Just posting some relevant PSU football news and getting people's thoughts on things like this.
I'm not concerned just scratching the head on how fast he changed his mind. Wish he would have stayed committed but wish him the best.
Next man up!
I believe that’s where we are bob, next man up. I don’t like losing recruits but if we do I’m sure James Franklin will find another just as good if not better.

I believe he already did with Olu Fashanu.... Both are excellent players.

Tough loss yes, but only time will tell if he was one of the better commits. As far as recruiting rankings, he is a 4 star (somewhat recently) on 24/7 with a composite rating of 89 which would have put him just about in the middle of the current PSU recruiting class rankings.

Also, keep in mind the other OL recruits recently got bumped up on some sites. All the other OL recruits are 4 stars on at least one site except for Dawkins. As others have said also, landing the 4 star OT last week takes the sting out of this somewhat.
I guess I was mostly comparing him with our other O-line commits, and he was our 2nd most highly rated. We'll get over it, but our class would likely have been better with him than it will without him.

I completely get what you are saying and I don’t disagree. However, there were discussions elsewhere when they got the 4 star OT last weekend that 6 OL in one recruiting class was unusual. I’m guessing Franklin wasn’t completely blindsided by this. Signing day isn’t until December. A lot can happen between now and then. If OSU doesn’t light the world on fire, they may not retain all of these kids anyway. Only time will tell. I’m not losing any sleep over it.

Exactly this... If OSU has issues under Ryan Day and Justin Fields doesn't play well, you are gonna see a lot of defections.
Not saying that will happen, but IMO it could if OSU stumbles.
Or if they hand out a few sanctions due to lack of institutional control....like that'll happen.
Kind of strange how quickly he changed his mind. Also wondering if Flemming commitment had influence. Looks like OSU is loading up fast.

He committed in November and flipped over half a year later, you consider that quick?
If the ncaa doesn’t care if young women get sexually abused I doubt they’ll care if young men do.
The only thing the NCAA seems to care about is enforcing ridiculous rules on random players while allowing the star players to do whatever the heck they want.
The NCAA cares about 2 things and 2 things only.. In this order...
1. Preserving their institution and retaining their power and control...
2. MONEY!!
That is all that matters to the NCAA... It's a joke and a farce...
LOL!!! I Honestly don't know how those people live with themselves. .
They're all still patting themselves on the back for the hatchet job they did on Joepa.

My question is not about the NCAA and the BIG10 trying to be a police force but to investigate lack of institutional control and Title 9 issues... Let law enforcement can handle that part the NCAA needs to at a minimum remove scholarships and post season play for covering up crimes against student athletes.
Heck, the NCAA can't even handle transfer requests with any semblance of equity and fairness. All they did was usher in free agency and appear to be making up rules as they go along. Talk about winging it, LMAO!
Add AAryn Parks, another OL, to the de-commit.
Im probably going to a special place in hell for saying this but Toutant's tits sag lower than my wife's and she's 70 and bore 8 children. When they showed a picture of him, I thought he was a tuba player and was fixing to dot the I for the band at halftime.
MB and Navylion, if you ever tell my wife i wrote this I'll categorically deny everything
