33-1 vs. the ACC in regular season games in their past 34 games. That conference is really bad.
That said, ND is pretty darn good now the Hartmann is their QB. Huge upgrade for them
@roam
Your continual presentation of the facts amazes me.
I like facts...Perceptions can be deceptive and I have been bitten by Roams facts over the years as my perceptions have been inaccurate at times...Facts can be very inconvenient for folks trying to dodge the truth or create their own false narrative...

It was said on TV, I am just repeateing it LMAO
@the-funeral-director Are you getting on the SEC and Belichick bandwagon FD lol I’m just playing buddy lol
I’m still trying to get roam on the Belichick bandwagon but if 10 or 11 Super Bowl rings don’t get it done it’s probably impossible lol
That conference has sucked for a long time in my opinion and that is why I’ve had issues with Clemson getting a free pass to the playoffs even though they played nobody.
Yes they were a good team but is it easier to win the playoff after having a cakewalk season and go into the playoffs relatively healthy or play a season with 4 or 5 battles against good teams before the playoffs and go in with bumps and bruises?
When Belichick can show he can actually win a playoff game without the best QB in history, then maybe I will consider him the best cosch ever.I’m still trying to get roam on the Belichick bandwagon but if 10 or 11 Super Bowl rings don’t get it done it’s probably impossible lol
His record without Brady is abysmal.
@roaminglion I thought he took Cleveland to the playoffs? Plus he had Brady just like other coaches has their Bradshaw, aikman, young, Montana, and so on. The dude has the rings regardless if he was an assistant or head coach. The difference is he has been winning Super Bowls since 1986 something all other coaches couldn’t do. All coaches lose it and it may be him losing it today. You don’t accidentally walk into 10 Super Bowl rings. Of course there’s 4 or 5 more times he didn’t get the ring but he was still part of the big dance. He’s the Super Bowl King lol

Other coaches were successful without those guys you mentioned. And yes, Belichek won 1 playoff game in Cleveland. That's it. It 10+ yeara without Brady he has won 1 playoff game.
Sorry , but that isnt "best ever" IMO.

He’s made good decisions and obviously is very good with X’s and O’s but he’s also been lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.
@roaminglion most great NFL coaches have their QB and they have a few peak years where they dominate. Jimmy, Chuck, Reeves, Walsh, Parcels and I’m sure I’m missing a few all were great coaches but they lost it after 5 or 10 years while Belichick didn’t. I also think it’s fair to say your Giants won their Superbowl because of Belichicks defenses. We have to judge coaches on wins and losses and Belichick’s track record on finding ways to reach the Super Bowl is greater than anybody’s unless I’m forgetting somebody. Belichick is an easy man to hate and unless you’re a NE fan in the northeast, he’s hated and you’re from the North East so I understand why you hate him being a giants fan. All y’all from the Northeast are a bunch of MAGA’s about the NFL. Trump and Belichick are the 2 most hated men in America lol….when I say hate I’m talking sports hate for fun.

Yes, we have to judge them on wins and losses, and without the greatest QB in history he doesnt win. His teams and record is actually terrible.
And lets also mention that Brady won a Super Bowl once he left, and made the playoffs in another year too.
You can't simply shrug off 10 years of crap when talking about "best ever", especially when he only won when Brady was there.
Year before Brady? Missed playoffs.
Year Brady was hurt? Missed playoffs.
Year after Brady left? Missed playoffs.
I think you are completely underestimating just how much of a difference Tom Brady made. Brady did it without Belechik, Belechick hasn't sniffed it without Brady.
@roaminglion How many super bowls did Chuck Noll win without Bradshaw? How many did Bill Walsh win without Montana? How many did JJ win without Troy Aikman? None of ‘em ever won anything without their QB that got them to Super Bowls. Tom Landry never won a Super Bowl without Roger Staubach and Bill Belichick probably won’t win one without Brady. That’s just the way it goes being a head coach in the NFL. Bill Belichick has just done it better than the other coaches.

I dont care, I am not calling any of those coaches the best or better than others. FFS, you are arguing like I am saying he sucks when all I said is I don't consider him to be "the best ever"
But since you brought it up... Walsh had great success at Stanford, and JJ won some national titles didnt he? Pretty sure Landry was able to win some playoff games without Stauback too.
How many Super Bowls has Bill Belichick won?Overall, Belichick has won eight Super Bowl titles (the most of any individual in NFL history) and finished as runner-up four times from his combined time as an assistant and head coachWhat else does he have to prove Roam? You’re not being responsible on these facts I’m showing you. These are the best stats in NFL history
He's won 6 not 8. If you are going to use them, get them right. Counting his wins as a DC is ridiculous. By that standard everyone on his staff practically has the same amount.
Why is Michael Jordan considered the best ever then? He won 6, Bill Russell won 11.
Facts are facts, but you base an opinion on ALL FACTS... not just the ones you like. You choose to ignore his terrible record without Brady, I dont.
I copied that because I didn’t know how many he won I just know it’s a shit pot full plus that was just all his accomplishments in the Super Bowls. I can’t remember everything but if I remember correctly, when Brady went down NE still had a winning season and the man took Cleveland to the playoffs. It makes absolutely no sense to me to say if Belichick didn’t have Brady he wouldn’t have won all the Super Bowls. He drafted Tom Brady to be a QB at NE and he was the backup so Belichick saw something in him and when the other dude went down Tom Brady stepped in and the rest is history and it ain’t luck. Hell I’m a Falcons fan on the outside looking in and not living in the NE like all you MAGA NFL dudes I can see without being biased and I’m telling you and everybody else what Bill Belichick has done his whole NFL career is absolutely unbelievable. 12 times this dude has coached in the biggest game in the world and he has 8 Super Bowl rings. All dynasties come to an end and it’s probably Belichicks time. It happened to the Steeler, Cowboys, 49ers and the Packers that’s the NFL. Your a hard man to please Roam lol…we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Oh stop "he drafted Brady".... IN THE SIXTH ROUND. It's not like him and everyone else passed on Brady until very late. That's like saying Kyle Shanahan saw something in Brock Purdy, even though he waited until the last pick of the draft.
And how is it "crazy" to say he wouldnt have 6 rings without Brady? In 10 years without Brady be's a below .500
What’s a MAGA NFL dude? I live in the NE and know nothing about them.
@psujoe NE folk like Roam, 99, BOB and you homer are die hard NFL fans like Trump supporters. You 99 and Bob are MAGA Steelers fans, Roam is a MAGA Giants fan and I’ll go out on a limb and say my man navylion is a big time MAGA Eagles fan. I just love the falcons but I am a MAGA Democrat Trump man lol…..we can be hard to be reasoned with when we got our heals dug in lol. Just having fun
I guy I work with is from Buffalo NY and he said NE people are like trump supporters when dealing with their NFL teams. He’s a die hard Buffalo fan

I was at one time but really can’t say that I am anymore. Games like todays have become common in Pittsburgh and my fanaticism has waned over the last couple years.
Not sure I understand a MAGA DEMOCRAT Trump fan…..You sure you’re not a MAGA REPUBLICAN Trump fan?
