I’m not ready to throw in the towel just yet because we can still have a winning season we can still go 6-4 and carry some momentum over into next year like we did in 04 and we seen how the 05 team turned out. I’m hoping Levis can give this team a spark that it needs to start winning and the good thing is we’ll find out this Saturday against a good Iowa team that’s assuming Levis gets the start. I never give up if I can see something that can make something happen and I seen it yesterday when Levis come in. If we lose Saturday then we can look at the rest of the season as scrimmage games letting all the younger guys play and see what they got but as of now we can get to 6-4 and get back on track of winning which is very important. I always say winning solves most if not all your problem. You have to keep trying and if we go out and win these next 6 games I see something big to feed off of for next year plus I’ll feel better lol...just win out baby!

Is it just me or did the Nebraska game yesterday remember you of the Georgia bowl game in 2015? Just saying

This is a good reference and one I didn’t think of. However, I think McSorley was a slightly better passer. Although, Levis will probably get better with first team reps at practice. Maybe someone can correct me, but I don’t remember this new OC running much read option at Minny? If not, is this inept offense a result of Franklin being stubborn and insisting on running it?  Or is it the new OC trying to adapt to the PSU personnel?

@lionbacker99. I think Clifford is so bad throwing the ball his hands were tied so he just ran running plays. IMO when Levis made some good throws it opened up the offense a little more and we were able to move the chains and score then the defense started feeding off the offense and they started making some plays. Franklin should’ve yanked Clifford out after the first INT because it’s obvious he was killing us.

I just think the OC could have been more creative with his play calling with Levis in the red zone possessions.

@rip  Similar to my observation , as  an outsider, my comment

Team had way more energy with QB change, and  in fact should have won..We are all used to the QB looking to sideline for signals, and maybe Im wrong, but some of these PSU looks to sideline seem endless, and disrupt team tempo...If  a team is winning, no one would notice but when losing everything is magnified,,

Case in point, PSU totally dominated the 3rd quarter, and after scoring to narrow the gap to 27-13, marched again to the red zone , I think it was first and goal to go at the 8  Team was in perfect tempo, Nebraska on its heels, when it seemed Levis looked to sideline, and the OC or HC didnt have the call ready or wasnt sure what to call...these delays no matter how slight, give the D  a chance to regroup...Then a team totally in tempo, lost the momentum, and settled for  a 27 yd FG narrowing the lead to 27-16, instead of 27-20
