...but on March 11 a most handsome 7 and a half pound little boy was born, my  grandson (first grandchild ). Once at Penn State, Cael thinks he will project at 157#’s since we can’t get 18 more years from Jason Nolf.

Let's get this kid on Gerber's cereal and whole milk by April 1st! Once we see how he progresses, then we may want to think about some good protein....maybe mosquito thighs to start and then onto grasshopper wings before jumping into some PA grain fed venison by late summer- assuming he has broke teeth by then!  No walkers!!  Let him crawl and stand on his own.  Got to start early on escapes.  Once he hit's 9 months, hopefully he will be walking a little and I will jump in starting him out on duck unders and ankle picks.  If he has any issues sleeping through the night, let me know.  I mastered the near and far cradle, so I should be help you out here too!!

Congrats!!!

PS: I live with a house full of woman and I still waiting for my first grandchild! They go through guys like there's no tomorrow....LOL!

HMMM, good plan! He did a pretty good Peterson roll for a 1 point escape from his mom’s womb but it could’ve used some work. His mom has 9 months of riding time on him, gotta get out! A few months in the NLWC should polish it up. As for the rotating man door at your house, it took a while before our daughter found the man of OUR dreams.

Congrats! On a personal note my wife and I are expecting our little girl to arrive next week 😁

Maybe they'll meet each other in 17 years as part of PSU's class of 2036. LOL

That actually would be pretty funny/cool if they really did meet up as Freshman. Congratulations to both of you!

That’s wonderful news Roam. I think Navylion and myself can speak from experience that your little girl will melt your heart. Take the time to play Barbies, Beauty Shoppe or maybe it’s fishing and playing in rain puddles and you will never regret it. Lets see what happens in 17 years, I will guarantee young Lakerie will be a Lion, maybe with cauliflower ears.

Couldn't be more correct Lake!! I've been to more tea parties than the Queen of England!! with 3 daughters and a son I have run the gamut from Cheer Dad to Dance Dad to Martial Arts Dad!! My Granddaughter's name is Isabella, we call her Bella. She has some kitchen sets and a little fast food play set. Now a days I spend a lot of time at "Taco Bella" eating plastic food and drinking pretend smoothies! Our other pastime is playing play-dough. Wouldn't trade for anything in the world. I think I really appreciate it all the more because of how much I missed with my own kids being deployed during my Navy career. To say the girl melts my heart is a huge understatement!!

Thanks guys!  We shall see, I'm more than willing to put the time in playing with dolls if she wants to. That said, her mother was someone who played in the mud a bunch when she was younger as did I. We're thinking she's probably going to be more of a tomboy, but you never know! However she likes to have fun I'll be right there with her! Dolls and teaparties or soccer and basketball, either way I'm in.

Run and run fast!!!! My wife decided to have two girls at one time.  Yes, they are cute at first and then something changes about year 16 and it continues well into there 20's.  Mine are 26 now and they cost me more $$$ now than when I was buying everything two a at time in their early years.  Good luck with school clothes shopping at Walmart....can you say Gucci? LOL

All jokes aside, I agree with everyone else.  I would have girls all over again. You will be the hero in the house! Your wife will hate you, but your daughter will be your best friend!

Congrats!
