Ricky Slade and Journey Brown definitely look very good, but after watching the Blue/White this Cain kid kind of looks special.

Just looks the part

Agree Roam. He looks very good. I’d say the RB who isn’t on campus yet, Ford, will have a hard time seeing the field as a freshman with those three ahead of him. Did CJ Holmes play yesterday?

Hopefully we can get these studs on the field returning kicks on special teams if they’re good enough. I think Franklin has shown if you’re good enough you’ll get some playing time. Barkley, Slade, McGovern and Parsons are just some I can think of I’m sure there’s more.

That’s a big if because McSorley and Hamler are 2 guys that were good but not good enough to play but both did get better and we seen what happened lol

You're right Roam.  All I can add is that IMO, our cup runneth over at RB.

Been hearing nothing but good stuff from Franklin about Journey Brown all spring, but saw zip nada from him this scrimmage.  He seemed to get the least amount of touches of all the RB's - is this a sign that he has already earned the #1 position heading to fall camp?

I’d say no it puts him as the 3rd RB right now. Man Slade and Cain looked pretty dang good especially Slade. We are stacked at RB.

What's nice is how each of the 3 compliment each other. Journey has top level speed, Slade is very shifty and a good receiver, and Cain is a good between the tackle pure RB.
