Hope you're right Roam, but the only thing that makes sense to me is Kraft has nothing and is pulling names out of a hat trying to get a taker. He knows what giving the job to Terry would do to his credibility.
I honestly believe if it was an OC or HC whoever would tell the players at Penn St I’m your coach going forward but I got a few games left here and I’ll see you when the seasons over. I don’t believe we got anybody right now but that doesn’t mean something ain’t in the works but the deal might not be done. When we have a coach that’s when we’ll find out.

I agree they should at least let the players know, it’s my understanding the players are in the dark as well. That why I’m thinking Kraft has screwed this up royally. Maybe he is looking for another job as well, who knows at this point. I just think it’s odd that these other schools have already found their coach and their recruiting classes are still intact.

Kraft ain't pulling names out of a hat at all...The coach is already hired...There is an agreement in place...The money guys knew who they wanted when the fired Franklin mid season...They will announce at the appropriate time...What's funny is that these idiots actually believe when they fired Franklin they didn't have his replacement already lined up...The money guys made this decision...It's done and over...
Sitake is the only name I have really seen where the media said Penn State was going after him. So if that is true that he is staying at BYU, now what is PK’s plan? Maybe he is in over his head but his ego is as big as the guy he just fired. I’m not feeling too good about what is going on. I really hope Deboar or Hartline have already signed the dotted line and I’m overreacting. But I have a feeling PK doesn’t have a backup plan and Jimmy is all smiles down in Virginia right now. LoL
@the-funeral-director I don’t think so FD, they offered the BYU coach the job and he turned it down. This was the last couple of days. If they had their guy why are they talking to the BYU coach?
@southern-psu-fan my understanding is they did offer him and BYU countered and he declined PSU. He was supposed to have a meeting with players and canceled it after deciding to stay.

Will Stein who was one of the first guys I wanted was interviewed by us and wasn’t good enough is now off the board to Kentucky and I just heard we now have interest in the Houston Cougars head coach. I don’t know the guys name and am not looking it up.

I think the odds are going up by the minute for him to be fired, well that’s what the folks on BSD think anyways. TS might be the only choice left since he struck out or turned down everyone else. I just think after this fiasco it shows how incompetent Kraft is.
I don’t know if any of this Sexton talk is real but if it is true and he is blackballing (or whatever the term is) Kraft then maybe it makes some since why all the big names are not interested in coaching here. It's funny to me how reporters spread rumors about who offered what to whom, and then when nothing happens actly like "we struck out" like the rumor had to be 100% true.
Trying to decipher this is pointless, we'll know soon enough but yeah it is strange.
