Man! Puts me right back in high school. Merry Christmas!

Gosh I miss working on the flight deck!! My favorite job of all the things I did over my career! CV 41 USS Midway! I road that old girl!!!

Merry Christmas all. Could really use some prayers!! Had to fly north, my brother in law Mark who has MS got rushed to the hospital the night before last. Gave him his last rights this morning. Only 55 years old.

@navylion Sorry to hear Navy. May you and your family be at peace. We’ll be praying for you. I understand your situation. I lost a 45 year old cousin recently, as well. Tough time of year to face this.

Thanks all for the prayers! Apparently the Lord had a higher purpose for him and called him home. He passed at approximately 1330 yesterday afternoon. Totally devastated, don’t know what else to say. Thanks again guys.

So sorry to hear buddy. I don’t have all the answers but I do believe 100% that you and tsuga are right. I will say another prayer for your family.

May he rest in peace.  I'll ask my brother to remember him at Mass.  If it's any consolation, I truly believe your brother in law is in a better place now.  

RIP, sad that it happened over the holidays. So sorry for you, yours and especially your BIL’s immediate family.

Hey all, thanks for all the prayers and condolences. I’ve gotten through all my rage and have come to grips that the almighty did him a solid. I truly believe that where he is at a place now there is no MS or pain and suffering. He’s probably walking around without the aid of crutches and hanging with his Dad and drinking a fine single malt!! Now I just need to be a big brother and look after my little sister and help her navigate the pain and sorrow and help her move on. She is a very strong women and we have a solid tight Nit family! (See what I did there!!) just got to get through the next week with the funeral and all. Gonna be a long week!! Thanks again everyone! I don’t care what Joe or Snake says about all you guys, you are all Aces in my book!!!
