Do y’all think it’s possible we might get a game or 2 with Mississippi State? I’d like it especially since Moorhead is their coach, get rid of one of the garbage games and gets some SEC competition?
Sounds good to me Southern.
Would be a nice game to see on the schedule. A home and home would be ideal. That could be a reason to go to Mississippi. I’m sure it’s a great environment to see a game in Starksville probably a great town as well
If we do it's quite a ways out, 2023 at the earliest. Our schedule is full until 2020, and in 2021 & 2022 we play Auburn so we're not adding another SEC team.
So really, even if we do add them I'm not sure Moorhead would even be there in 6 years.
Careful now. Not sure you can find 4 star hotels. Mississippi is not a destination, it's punishment. Katrina came through and made a million dollars in improvements. I lived in a trailer court in Kentucky and that was "tall cotton" compared to Mississippi. I did tours of duty in Alabama and Mississippi, and Alabama was more tolerable.
Jag, were you at Fort Campbell or Fort Rucker? (AKA Motherrucker).
I was in the AF at the time and was at Maxwell AFB in Alabama and Gulfport, Mississippi for multiple training exercises.
