It's almost game time gents. I am going to make my prediction a little shorter today.
I firmly believe Penn State is the better team, at home against a team that still hasn't quite found its identity. However, Penn State finds its self in a similar boat.
Sean Clifford will face the most pressure he has seen this year as Michigan will try to make PSU one dimensional. If Michigan sticks with their aggressive man offense then I think PSU will have some opportunities to make some big plays and win this sucker comfortably. If not, it could be a slugfest and the team that makes the most mistakes will lose. I give the nod to PSU in this department because Michigan has put the ball in the turf quite a few times this year. The bottom line is that PSU needs to win this game because they should!
I think this game counts as 2 wins or 2 losses. If PSU wins they beat Michigan State next week. If they lose, I feel another loss may be looming just like the previous two seasons. So Penn State... WIN!!!
Penn State 24-Michigan 10
I’m always nervous when we play Michigan. I’m more nervous about this game than most of y’all were about Maryland lol. I know every year It’s a different year but I’m a numbers guy and we sometimes lay an egg when it comes to the Michigan teams but I also think we will take care of bidness tonight baby and kick Michigan’s butt!!! 27-17 penn st wins
I hope our offensive line plays a physical game (without holding, LOL) and Cain has ample opportunity to do his thing. If that happens, our defense continues to play tough and Clifford and the receivers have a good game, this can be a romp! I can see us winning 42-7! Gonna miss you guys on the live chat, but I'll be listening to Jack Ham on the radio again!
If we can establish a run game early, I think this game will be a blowout. The way Michigan and Don Brown play, if we can power run the ball we will get a lot of 1 on 1 matchups and play action opportunities down the field.
For that reason I'm really hoping the rotation is over with, Michigan is a defense tailor made for Cain to pound the ball against. Spell him with Brown or the other guys for a change of pace, but the majority of the time it should be Cain running downhill.
It’s whiteout time baby....but how bout dem Yellow Jackets 🐝 lol. It’s about time somebody steps up and gets a stop.
I believe Oklahoma is the real deal?
I believe Oklahoma is the real deal?
They are certainly the class of the Big 12, but really I am not sure what that means. The conference is devoid of any good wins against other conferences... That said OU does look like a more complete teams this year than past years, mainly because their defense is playing decent.
As for GT, congrats!
So one of the trivia questions was who has beaten PSU most often at home. Answer was Syracuse which made sense, I'd expect Syracuse or Pitt. Then they mentioned the Lambert Trophy. At first I thought they said Land Grant, do we still play MSU for that abortion?
Anyway, a history of the Lambert: https://news.psu.edu/story/503613/2018/01/29/athletics/football-wins-lambert-trophy. So it is the Beast of the East Trophy.
88 had 2 nice special teams tackles on kicks. A third at the end of the game he is there to force the returner out. I believe he is the walk-on sprinter receiver that was given a scholarship. He had a good game.
Watching the receivers on plays you can see that a lot of plays are run options not rpo. They are blocking or running off the defense immediately. They are either not RPO or the QB signals run? That would be EZ to steal the signal?
I also see the receivers just decoying like they know Hamler is the only receiver. The 3rd TD it seems nobody else is looking to be an option.
The one kickoff that Hamler didn't field you can see he stays behind the ball like he is looking for a possible throw across the field.
Gilliken had some poor/odd punts.
Just wouldn't call a hold on 73 the right tackle? 4th down at the end of the game he has his arm around Toney's neck. Decided to let them play at that point.
Jesse Luketa is the LB at the end, had a chance for the INT on 3rd and goal and I really think the receiver grabbed him and spun him. Could have been interference. Good that bell dropped the ball on 4th down
A week later and Michigan is kind of dominating ND. 3 good quarters against us.
Our favorite crew is doing the game I think and they gave ND a TD on an interference that if anything was offensive interference. That big ND receiver uses his body well.
Hey... I thought Forum Titan told us that Michigan sucked?
We better hope ND loses to Michigan because their schedule is pure garbage after this game.

31-7 with 10 minutes left, Southern yeah I think it's pretty much over
38-7... Harbaugh still throwing it, Michigan is taking out a season's worth of frustrations on Notre Dame
Our win over Michigan looks so much better right now, obviously proving that they are pretty good team
