Bo was a monster.

I'd like to talk to this author and ask him why he thinks Bo punching his own son and telling him to shut up is the same as Joe reporting suspected abuse when he heard about it and then directing that person to talk to the University officials about it.
I'm so sick of people acting like Joe stayed silent. He effing told who he was supposed to... and actually did exactly what the NCAA guidelines were changed to: Report it and then back away and let the investigation determine what happened.
But yeah, totally the same. I guess he should have just punched McQueary and told him to zip it.
When I clicked on the link, it brought up an opinion piece in USA Today penned by a Christine Brennan. Totally agree with your take. Somebody needs to set her straight. Maybe she's related to the esteemed Ms. Ganim!
Facts don't matter to our entertainment media. They are entertainers, clowns, diseased whores. They are typically not reporters. 'Reporter' insinuates some work getting and explaining facts.
Nothing new has come out in 5 years suggesting Joe didn't do what was required. That being said I suspect Joe felt bad about not following up. Then again in America we have presumed innocence and privacy rules. Had he asked they might have told him 'we got it'.
But remember that factually the kid in the shower said nothing happened and he didn't testify? I question Red's story more than Joe.
Guys, I understand by me posting this, it conjures up some hard feelings about our situation as PSU alumni and fans. However, that wasn’t my goal so I apologize for that. The point of the post was to convey the shocking news that Bo’s son revealed about the Michigan situation. The article reports of horrible abuses that occurred there and the legendary coach telling his son (and most likely others) to not talk about it. It is mind blowing. Also, the author of the article I attached is the same author that publicly blasted PSU in 2011, so I found it somewhat satisfying that she has to eat crow now. I honestly didn’t focus on the parallel she attempted to make with PSU.
With all due respect, 99, do you call this eating crow - "If it’s true, the University of Michigan must do to Schembechler what Penn State did to Joe Paterno after he ignored Jerry Sandusky’s sexual assaults of young boys. The statue must come down." ????
@rip Here you go Bob. Maybe this article will convey what I was trying to share without enraging you. Not sure why you seem to want to attack me over an article about a Michigan team physician abusing athletes, but whatever.
I'm sorry if I offended you 99, but I wasn't attacking you and I'm certainly not enraged! I was just saying that I couldn't see where the author (Christine Brennan) was eating any crow as you had posted. I included a quote from her article where she clearly states that JoePa ignored Sandusky's sexual assaults of young boys. My problem is with her, not you! I appreciate you sharing the article and again, I apologize.
Beer break baby. What a bunch of hypocrites Ohio St, Michigan and especially Michigan State! Bob and 99, we needs some Penn State football brother and it’s coming lol

Can't come soon enough, Southern. You're right about the hypocrites. I'd like to add to the list all the "journalists" and talking heads that have an ax to grind and persist in bad mouthing ole JoePa for doing the right thing!
yes sir 99 but I’m not picky I like all kinds of different beer but Corona and ultra are my favorite and Yuengling lol
@southern-psu-fan Ever since I went to Ireland for the 2014 PSU vs UCF game, Guinness has been my beer of choice.I had my first Guinness ever in the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin at the alumni association party the night before the game. When we walked into the party, the PSU band/ cheerleaders were lined up on both sides and I got to high five the Nittany Lion at the end of the line. As the Irish would say I felt like a fookin king.
Not interested……
@lionbacker99 Definitely top 5 movie all time 99
Yes. Probably top 5 for me as well. That’s the only reason I used it. No trying to be a smartass to sky, that’s just the first thing that popped in my head. I quote that movie all the time.
@lionbacker99 Tombstone and point break are my 2 favorites man I can keep them 2 movies on lol. Roadhouse is up there too

@roaminglion. Man that was a great scene roam. What’s your favorite sci-fi movie buddy?
I would have 'liked" your first post except there is nothing to like about the content. That said, thank you for posting it, first time I've seen this story.

Empire Strikes Back. I grew up on Star Wars baby, love those originals. However, there are so many scifi movies that I love, the wife and I are huge science fiction nerds 🤓
How about you?
