Man they look lost...From their head coach all the way down the line...If they go down this is going to be a bad loss...They literally look like they are sleep walking...Wittingham looks like a deer in the headlights...They may come back to win this but man they look really bad...
That team looked the exact opposite of what we saw today with Penn State...They just don't look prepared to play a football game...I honestly have never seen a Michigan team every look like this...This is shocking...

@psujoe I’ve been keeping up with the big 10 since Penn State joined in 1993 and the same shit has been going on and it’s all teams getting hosed playing Ohio St and Michigan. That second that got put back on the clock in 05 was also at Michigan.
The goat Joe Paterno called the big 10 out on the refs and that’s why we have replay today and they still can’t get it right lol
Clock stops when someone touched it out of bounds. They didn't give the audience a slow view. But at full speed it looks like zero. I suppose it could be a fraction of a second. Western Michigan may be the best MAC team but even so they did not threaten UM's defense and they were plus 3 in turnovers. I thought it was over and went to the Clemson debacle only to see the replay of the last second. Someone should have been in trail mode instead of everyone deep.
Even the NBC annoucers said there was 0 on the clock. I'm sure the refs can use the old "time is kept on the field" excuse.

@roaminglion the big 10 backs the call 😂 these refs put 2 seconds back on the clock in the last 10 seconds if i remember correctly. This is more proof the big 10 cheats for Michigan and Ohio St and both teams always get these calls when the games are on the line.
Apparently the Big Ten provided evidence of the tape that satisfied the MAC that indeed 1 second should have been put back on the clock.
However, many of us will always think that evidence was a Brinks truck
@roaminglion it’s like telling the 10 million Penn St fans when we got hosed back in 2015 playing Ohio St that the replay booth didn’t have the same views as the fans on TV when they were watching the game on TV. The MAC makes a lot of money off the big 10 but I know what I watch and I could see easily the time has expired while the ball was in the air.
There was one second put back on the clock on the prior play from 8 back to 9. That seemed legit to me, the clock operator was slow. Those same seconds disappear a multitude of times during the game but they only get looked at with under 2 minutes. Watched the replay and the game clock is definitely 0 when the ball get touched OOB. You can say the official time is on the field BUT when they asked the clock operator to put the clock from 8 to 9 seconds at that point one would have to assume the field clock and the game clock are calibrated at 9 seconds. So then when you 'REVIEW' you cannot review anything but the video of the ball touching a player OOB against the game clock. You don't have video of some hand clock held by a zebra. And even so the hand clock should have been at the same 9 seconds at the start of the play. Nobody wants to hear about fractional seconds. If you had them put 9 seconds on the clock are you going to tell the world the referees clock had 9.8 seconds? So yes Southern they put a second on from 8 to 9 and then 0 to 1.
Hard to explain this away IMO. I guess you can say he field clock kept by the official was at 0.5 seconds when he stopped it but then what did you review? His finger on the stopwatch vs the video of the ball? You can't synch them. Shame on you. Like the real world, the rules aren't the same for all of us 🙁 Better to be a 'Michigan Man'. Reminds you of the old Olympic Basketball Game where we lost the gold metal after the game ended twice.

To be learned from the play...you need a tall player with leaping ability fronting the receivers. Having all your guys behind them is a failure. I propose you might even have one or two of your receivers playing D if they are tall and can jump.
