Miami just punched their ticket and advance.
ACC is a garbage conference though.
The ACC does kind of stink this year but today is the best game I’ve seen Miami play in years they actually looked like the old Miami teams speed and getting to the football. Their kicker had a bad day. Is it me or did the Miami players look huge compared to the A&M players dang the Canes are big and fast.
Well it's just that the SEC is VERY overrated...
Texas A&M was overrated, they played two teams with winning conference records and lost to both.Well it's just that the SEC is VERY overrated...
Outside Texas their SEC schedule managed to miss every single good team in the league. The SEC had 7 ranked teams and somehow A&M only played 1 of them... and lost.
Conferences are just too big.
@roaminglion i agree i was saying the same thing when Elko was on the Penn St wish list. They’re pretty good but overrated as for where they’re ranked. 10 teams is as big as a conference needs to be.
Yep, I think you'll see some culling of the herd in the near future. Conferences will start dumping non-productive members rather than continuing to share the wealth with those that ain't bringing any in.
If we’re going to have 20 teams in a conference then there needs to be 2 ten team divisions and figure out who plays who and have a conference championship game and that gives you a true conference championship. The big 10 use to have the right idea but Jim Delany rigged it where there was no competition in the big 10 championship. The big 10 was more crooked than the SEC ever was. It was so crooked that’s why we have replay
There has never been a more crooked conference than the SEC...Back 40 or 50 years ago the Big 12 would have given the SEC a run for their money with Texas and Oklahoma but in the last 30 years there has been no conference more crooked than the SEC...The issue was and is they don't want to punish the big brand teams so they really get away with anything they want...Tricky Nicky Saban was openly breaking the rules for years without a word being said and nothing reported...I find it fascinating how a whole roster could drive around new Dodge Chargers and nobody questioned where those kids got those cars? The big name players got the cars and bags of money...We are right back to that nonsense with this so called salary cap...You think the SEC conference big name teams are going to play by the rules? If you believe that I got a bridge up here in New York that I will sell you at a discount...
right...Back then it was the Big 8...Texas and Oklahoma rivaled the SEC in those days...Nebraska were no choir boys either but they were a bit more constrained with their payouts...
Oh FFS this again... broken record comes to mind.
