If you need to have your ego lowered a bit this Memorial Day go to the Medal of Honor website and read a few of the citations. I can't seem to add the link but hear it is "www.cmohs.org/recipients/overview". Many amazing stories can be found there. Sergeant York and Audie Murphy are there of course. Many thanks to all veterans today and every day.
