Love the pick, it's a really good situation for Trace, the Baltimore offense is more his style ever since Lamar Jackson took it over last year. Really a perfect fit for him.

I watched that fake punt play New Orleans did on the Giants in the Penn Live article.  That's a pretty good idea to have a 3rd or 4th team QB up front in punt block protection with the option to take the snap and do a run pass option.  QB's are generally pretty big so they should be able to block some.  Those people aren't really expected to make a tackle.  Would keep the receiving team guessing.  I'm surprised more college teams don't do that with a younger guy that wouldn't get in otherwise.  Any thoughts?

This is a great spot for Trace... He will make an impact on that team... Great spot for him and a great pick by the Ravens...

The landing spot makes me sick. Great kid, but I hate the team he wound up on. I’ll be pulling for him, but will never root for the ratbirds.

IMO McSorley is probably the better passer of the two, but Lamar Jackson is electric running the ball.

Should be a good tandem, I see the Ravens doing some similar things to the way New Orleans used Taysom Hill last year

I read in this mornings paper that the Ravens were his best possible destination as they don’t have veteran back ups to Lamar Jackson and could easily start the year as second string. With Jackson’s scrambling style, Trace is an injury away from #1.

I would not be shocked if he doesn't take that job from Jackson at some point this season... He is a much better passer and is a much better decision maker...

I know he's gone now .... but anyone would be better than Joe "Watching paint dry" Flacco.  Get someone in there was some attitude, some swagger, might be the ticket for the "ratbirds"

It won't be long until that is his team...He is going to go in there and take over the QB room and that team very quickly...He is just a leader and a winner...He is also the better passer and better decision maker...Mr. Jackson will have a tough time holding Trace off and I think at the end of the day Trace will take over that job....

Trace is going to have to throw the ball if he’s going to have success. He was a great scrambler in college but I don’t know if he’s fast enough to do in the NFL what he did in college. I’m pulling for him FD and I hope he has a great career. I believe he’ll be a good backup and hopefully he’ll spend many years in the NFL even if it’s being a backup.

I hope....no, I believe you're right FD.  There is just something about Trace that leads me to believe that all he needs is a crack in the door and he'll move right in.
