I've been saying for a while now that the past two years Marilyn was just missing quality quarterback play, and Josh Jackson looks like he's giving it to them.
I think they're going to be a tougher game than people expect, and I hope they go on to win this game against Syracuse because it looks good for the Big Ten as well as puts another quality team on our schedule

After today the the ACC will only have Clemson in the top 25, man the whole conference stinks except Clemson. Michigan down 14-7. Remember I said Harbaugh should just do what he does just keep gettin better not change the offense. We will see.

Maryland truly concerns me right now...That is going to be a very tough ballgame and they better get the slow start thing fixed or they will find themselves down 28-0 in a hurry...They are going to test our defense and the offense is going to need to score early and often to beat this ball club...they look really good...

Nonsense. Maryland is obviously a better team this year than the past couple of seasons. I am not saying we shouldn't beat them, but if you are overlooking them then you are crazy.
Last two years they had multiple QB injuries which just killed them, and now they have a quality QB who is a huge upgrade. Also last year they had a lot of coaching turmoil.
They are obviously better than they have been in previous years, better than any Indiana team we've played that's for sure.

Hogwash, that would mean they'd have to lose twice to teams like Rutgers, Indiana, Temple, or Minnesota. All teams that are worse than Syracuse

Silly? Y’all say this same crap about Indiana and Maryland every year and we stomp both teams every year. We’ve lost 2 games in 40 years playing these 2 lightweights and the death penalty sanctions are the reason we lost them 2 games that’s just the facts!

Ok, so what do you consider a lightweight? please elaborate. You bring some good stuff to the table and other times you talk in circles. Maryland is no joke this year and they have the material to beat Penn state again. Not saying it's definitely true, just be ready.
How am I talking in circles I’ve never been on the Maryland and Indiana bandwagon? 2 losses 1 tie in 40 years is our record against these 2 teams. I haven’t looked anything up just trying to remember but I think I’m right but if you want to prop Maryland it’s all good.
Penn State has too MANY weapons and too MUCH talent to lose against Maryland....or Pitt this weekend for that matter. You saw that this past weekend. Buffalo has a good team, they did a nice job preparing for the Penn State game and they have a a very good chance of winning out. I didn't like that first half any more than the next fan, but when it got right down to it, the Lions got it done!
Personally, I think we all need to be prepared to see more of what saw this past weekend for the next few weeks. I didn't like the play calling at all, thought Clifford was still a little lost out there and I still don't understand why they weren't blitzing more on defense. I am hoping that both, the players and COACHES now have film that they can study this week to see where they were lacking this past weekend.
I think Penn State will progress over the next few weeks and settle in by the Michigan game. Again, I like the talent, I think this team has plenty of winners and tons of enthusiasm. They need a couple of more games under their belt before they are going to click the way we would all like to see them do.

Maryland has a different culture than the last few years. Team is focused and seriously intent on bringing everything against us. Watching he local TV here in DC area, and the talk is MD can win against us.
Is anyone going to the Maryland game? I’m seriously considering coming in early Friday , scalping a ticket, getting a hotel for me and Mrs. Lakerie then leaving Saturday. If you are, let me know and we can have a few beers.
