Anyways... As for the topic at hand, who would you think could be a replacement? Internal hire or do you think they will bring in someone to fill the void? Personally I'd look outside to Robinson from A&M
I believe James Franklin keeps a list of coaches he wants just in case a coach leaves so I’m pretty sure he already has somebody in mind. Frankly has always did a great job recruiting and hiring assistant coaches so I’m pretty sure we’ll be ok at the DL especially with the young talent we have. Being a DL coach at Penn St is a GREAT job and it always has been.
@roaminglion Robinson sounds like a home run, if we can come up with the $. Picking Partridge out of Pitt's pear tree does have it's appeal too. But as SPF said, Franklin probably has his own list, we'll have to wait and see how they match up. Hope it doesn't drag out too long.
I am just a fan, not a football analyst. Since I really only watch PSU, I don't know much about other coaches. Heck, I probably couldn't even name most of the PSU coaches. I sure would love to see Larry Johnson Sr come home again, but that is highly unlikely.

Both their bios are on the link I posted on Feb 28. Couldn't post the link to Tex A&M, Robinson; but easy enough to google. Robinson if from NJ. I'm not sure Barnes is quite ready for promotion just yet.

He's just a young whippersnapper at 71. I hit 76 in May. It had been ideal conditions for sap season. Cold nights and warm days. Right now we have that blizzard coming thru the area. I should get out and open a path to the sugar shack but I'm kind of content to sit back and watch the snow fall.

Things here in Oregon shut down completely when it happens... though the can't use salt on the roads and Portland only has 3 plows total. It's a bit wierd to say all that, considering we also have the 2nd largest single mountain Ski resort in the USA in Mt Bachelor.
But man, coming from living in Buffalo it's hilarious how people here can't function
