The run game has been good but not on the same level as 2016, 2017 and 2019. 2 players we got screwed with not seeing their full potential is Micah Parsons and J. Brown. Had J.Brown got to play another season at Penn St that dude would’ve made some big time noise and would be playing in the NFL. Just seems to me we were better running the ball them 3 years.this year is good just not great.
In 2016 & 2017 we averaged 170 rushing yards per game. @roaminglion it might be on paper but watching the games imo the run game was much better them 3 years that why we beat Ohio St and Michigan in a few games. I’m happy to be 6-0 and ranked 3rd but I still believe we’re struggling on the offensive side of the ball and we still need to get better. One thing I do love is when we need to score we have. I’m not doom and gloom but I believe we gotta get better on offense.
When we beat Michigan in 2019, our top rusher had 49 yards. We didnt win those games because of our rushing offense.
This is the best rushing offense Penn State has had in years...The offensive line has been actually moving people off the ball...To me it is the pleasant surprise of the season...
