What is the game plan to beat Iowa?Â
1) If Penn State wins the toss, they need to take the ball to start.  Penn State needs every advantage they can get to score first. Iowa will struggle if Penn State goes up 7-0! No need to defer to the second half, just don't entertain that option Saturday!
2) Short passes, 5 yards at a clip to get Clifford warmed up.....then fire one down the field to Dotson!Â
3) NO RUNNING plays for the first two possessions, this will freak Iowa out!Â
4) Hurry up offense, Iowa will not be ready and will burn a TO to catch their breath.
5) ALL out blitz against Iowa's QB at least for the first two or three series. I am telling you, he is already nervous and we are days away from kickoff!Â
6) Explain to Clifford, the team in Blue is who he is throwing to! Iowa's defense has just as good of hands as Dotson....just ask the Turtles!

But you might as well add that the game doesn't even need to be played because Iowa and PSU are in the Big 10 and not in the SEC and don't have an ESPN contract and the Big 10 Refs are against PSU so it doesn't matter who wins or loses cause it's all about the SEC and who ESPN wants to win the NC which isn't a Big 10 Team. 🤪 🤪 🤪 🤪 🤪 🤪 🤪 🤪 Â

I don't think Penn State will be denied the playoffs if they win the Big10 and split with Iowa 1-1. What really stinks is if they beat Iowa and lose to Ohio State and then win out. This would be an issue for them! But, if they beat Iowa, lose to Ohio State, win out and Ohio State loses to Iowa in the BIG10 Championship, we could see what happened to Penn State several years ago and they get picked over Iowa.Â
A Big10 team is going to the playoffs....we just don't know which one yet! And I wouldn't count on two SEC teams just quite yet either. It is going to get very interesting over the next few weeks. Good grief, everyone is picking GA as the number 2, but then you got this Kentucky thing going on.Â

I would love to see Auburn pull one out of their hat this weekend. Talk about a Shake Up? This would cause ESPN to go dark for the rest of this season!! LOL

Funny because I was just listening to ESPNU and that's pretty much what they were saying. They said Bama and GA are basically in the playoff no matter what and no other conference has a snowball's chance in hell of ever putting two teams in a 4 team playoff. Oh and they also said the playoffs aren't expanding anytime soon.
