He competed in 210 consecutive regular-season games and 308 straight total matchups despite having nine operations on his knees during his career. His right leg was amputated in 2007. This was one tough dude brother!
Yep. They didn't have anterior cruciate ligaments back then!
The wussification of this country started with the worthless millennial generation.
Of course generally speaking...The wussification of this country started with the worthless millennial generation.
but Gen X just took what we got and made due, we were latch key kids and adapted.
Millennials just seem to blame everyone for their perceived problems, they really took victimhood to another level. I see constant nonsense about how they have it so much worse than boomers, yet statistical data shows they make more than any other previous generation... Even when adjusted for inflation.
I even remember reading articles about "The average one bedroom apartment is out of reach for most millennials" years ago and just laughing at how sad it was. Most kids I knew were sharing studios, one, and two bedroom apartments with 5 other guys. No one was lamenting not having an apartment to themselves at 21 years old. Yet ask a millennial and they think everyone just magically had houses and apartments handed out to them back in the day.
One of the best times of my life was sharing a 50 year old, 2 bedroom townhouse with 4 other guys. The place was a sh*thole, but it was our sh*thole. LOL
I know my man tsuga is a Packer fan and he probably got to watch all these dudes play in the 60’s. I was born in 68 so it was right before my time but I’ve watched some of the old games when they use to play ‘em on tv. I’m sure I liked football before 1975 but 1975 is when I started playing football and our uniforms looked just like Penn St and that’s why I became a Penn St fan. My daddy was a Dawg and Vikings fan and I loved watching games with him it was so much fun. My mother was a Ga Tech fan. Man reading that article yesterday and seeing the old football pictures makes me realize how fast life goes by.
