Technically sound but just can't keep up with Oregon's speed.

This game and the Tulane game have been jokes. Let the G5 and P4 have their own separate playoffs.

^ day in and day out, I agree, there's just too much of a separation in depth, speed, and overall skill. Kinda like taking top 10 in 6a Tx highschool and putting those teams up against 4A, just not enough horses to run with the big boys mentally and physically for a full game. And i'm not talking about a 6a school who is having a 4a season.

If we had a 16 team playoff and nobody getting byes I can see giving teams like Tulane and JMU a chance but with only 12 heck no.

I don’t think 16 solves the problem as there will still be P4 teams screaming that they should be in over anyone G5. Wasn’t JMU ranked #24?

@psujoe just saying the more teams in the playoffs it can be justified letting a team like Tulane in because they did beat Duke the ACC champs. Ain’t no way with 12 Tulane or JMU should have one of these spots. If they don’t I don’t have a problem with that either.

JMU hasn't done well, but they also haven't looked horrible. To be honest this game looks beeter than Ohio State Tennesee did last year.

Off subject, one thing for sure though, T A&M has spent a boat load of money on coaches and players and still has gotten far enough.

@roaminglion  you can tell JMU is a very good football team and there is some teams in the P4 that they can beat but getting in the playoffs is way above their heads. With being able to pay players it will level out the to 16 to 20 teams over time we can see already 3 or 4 teams won’t dominate anymore because having very good backups probably won’t happen for most teams it will be hard to just plug in players if one goes down. The way Texas tech is playing they might win it all we just don’t know anymore the nil and money has changed everything. I gotta give Miami a little love they looked good yesterday the best I’ve seen them look in years they were playing with an old Canes attitude.

Texas Tech is the sleeper this year just b/c they haven't been on this stage, imo.

JMU just didn't have the athletes to keep up with Oregon...I honestly believe they would have given Ole Miss a game...Ole Miss ain't Oregon...
