It's exactly what the game would have looked like had Clifford not been injured, He had a 150 yards passing just 1 1/2 quarters in, and the Purdue QB has 360 yards passing right now.
The difference is we could not get any rest for our D once Clifford went down. Purdue has done well in TOP

Kind of... One QB has thrown over 40 passes and the 2 others have 3. More like they used them as a wildcat for running purposes
@tae-buetel it was just a bad game brother it happens. I knew Iowa was way overrated. This loss puts the Tide back in the top 4. We have to get better at QB. Clifford is good but the rest won’t cut it to beat the heavyweights.
@southern-psu-fan The unacceptable failures happen too often and will continue to happen too often until changes are made. Winning, Domination and Loyalty are attitude driven.

Help at QB is on the way in this year’s recruiting class. 2 highly rated QBs coming in. One from York, PA and one from Ohio. The Ohio kid is putting up crazy stats and looks really good. He will probably be in line for very early playing time if Clifford leaves.
We also have to remember that PSU had 3 QBs transfer out in the past year. They tried to bring in another from the transfer portal but kids don’t want to transfer to a program to be a backup.
ND is hot garbage. Their schedule is ridiculously soft and they are squeaking by some really poor teams. But, hey, maybe the media will prop them up again so they make the playoff and get curbstomped by a real team from a real conference. Big Game Brian Kelly will get embarrassed again. That clowns record vs highly ranked teams is abysmal. I hope he stays there forever.
Truth is that Iowa is the best team in the west but probably #4 or 5 in the B10. They could get beat by another week team on their schefule but I still don't see anyone else winning the west.
On a positive note, NW is happy to have a new B10 doormat.
A lot of B10 teams had off this week. MSU didn't look awsome. Remaining tough games ranked are OSU and then the Michigan teams?

LOL ...Roam is the defender of the inept and the mediocre when it comes to PSU. JF will never win the big one here and winning the B1G again is a longshot.
Reversion to the mean. The vaunted Iowa turnover machine broke. 3 INT's for Purdue. Iowa can't score with a long field and that receiver ate up the Iowa defense. If we were -2 in turnovers we win that game. Still had to win the East.
