Nothing more than an apology, puff piece so we feel sorry for Ole cousin Urban...He is a great coach (better than tricky Nicky Saban) but a horrible excuse for a human being... You know it's bad when they run you out of the University of Florida and your winning football games...Heart trouble my rear end...He had wife trouble cause he was screwing a 21 year old coed... Even the infamous circle of trust with Percy Harvin and Aaron Hernandez would have been overlooked but the wife was the one who ended his career at U of F...What went on with that program was nothing short of remarkable and was well known and looked away from and tolerated because he won football games.. I have no idea what shenanigans went on at Ohio State but I am sure it was tolerated for a while but got to be too much over time and out he went...I don't think Ole cousin Urban is finished coaching...He will let the dust settle and somebody will give him a shot... Daddy being tough and stern is no excuse for being a scumbag... He knows right from wrong and he can't help himself...
FD, Meyer was losing 4 games when he left Florida. When has Alabama lost 4 games? Who has the most NC’s? Brother, Meyer is a great coach but he ain’t Nick Saban lol

My daughter was going to UF at the time and was a casual acquaintance of the girl that he was screwing around with... If u use Google and have a little intelligence it isn't hard to find...Everything I mentioned is pretty common knowledge regarding Ole cousin Urban... That's what they called him back then when he was coaching at UF... I can assure you that I ain't off my rocker...And he is by far the superior coach to tricky Nicky Saban Southern... Not even close..
Hard to believe that Urban Meyer was being intimate with a coed and the media didn’t pick up on it. Bad news always sells more than good news.
U can find it on Google if u check and search deep enough... U have to understand a few things regarding the culture there at that time...The first thing u need to know is if the right people want a story buried it will be done and if the right people wanna do a hit job on u that can be done too...U don't need to go any further than what they did to coach Paterno... Bad news does sell better than good news but remember that these people run the area and if u step out of line they can destroy u or as in the case of the illustrious ms ganim they can make u... I can tell u that most of what went on there during that time was common knowledge... His affair with the coed wasn't common knowledge but it wasn't a secret either...He just had a bad season by UF standards and he was having discipline issues with the circle of trust gang... Harvin, Hernandez et.al...When his wife found out he was screwing this coed she put an end to it fast... LOL...they came up with lame heart ailment excuse and he was out of coaching what? 2 years? He had a miraculous recovery didn't he? She is the one that put an end to his coaching at U of F... The University went along with it to save face as they didn't need that on top of all the other nonsense they were dealing with... It is in print and u can find it on Google if u look hard enough... It's all factual and true...

Sad to say but if I had to win one college football game and could pick a coach it would be Ole cousin Urban...He was the best coach in college football until he quit...He will be back... He is far from done coaching...
USC job probably. I hope he does come back because college football is better with him coaching.
He was good until a year or two ago, he seemed to lose his edge at that point. Not sure if it was the cyst thing, or if it is just him getting older. Urban was at his best at Florida and Utah, at the end he let loyalty get the best of him by keeping coaches on staff that should have been fired and by hiring friends that should not have been given a job.
Ohio st was 12-1 last year, right? IMO he didn’t lose his edge? Year before that 11-2 that’s pretty dang good

I can vouch for Mr FD, he certainly isn't off his rocker. He's passionate about PSU and if that's being off your rocker than add me to list of those off their rockers. As a matter of fact, my grandfather thinks the world of him as he does all of the guys on here; and that speaks volumes.
Now, in regards to UM and his tryst with a co-ed, yeah its out there, ya just have to look for it. Whether or not you choose to believe it is totally up to you. Look at the man's past and all the crap he's covered up in the past and as yourself if him having an affair with a 21 year old is out of the realm of possibility.
Due to all the innuendo and rumors going on back in 2011 at PSU, I choose to steer clear of constantly pounding other coaches or schools for rumors and unproven accusations.
Sure, I will give my opinion on it that it's likely or that I believe it did or didn't happen... but I won't talk about all the time and act like I'm positive it happened. We need to be careful with how positive we are about rumors being true. It's one thing to say in your opinion you find it likely UM did it, it's a whole different animal to say it definitely happened with nothing to back it up.

I like Urban Meyer and think college football is better with him in it. I’ve always thought he was a classy guy just from watching him on tv but that’s all I know of him. I do know he said we got screwed in 2016 and we should’ve been in the playoffs so he’s pretty honest to say that. His players have always said good things about him as well. I’ve never heard anything like what FD said went on but if it did happen I don’t think you could cover that up especially after what happened with his assistant coach something would’ve come out. Just my opinion though. BTW he still ain’t Nick Saban lol
FD I’m not saying it didn’t happen I’m just going on what I’ve seen and heard on tv plus connecting the dots. I believe he left Florida because he was losing and he didn’t have a QB and instead of hanging around and fixing it he jumped ship but that’s just my opinion what happened as far as why he left. You may be right about the other stuff I don’t know lol
I was living there when he left and my daughter was a student there... Had nothing to do with his record that season... He was on par with Spurrier there.. He lost institutional control there... Harvin, Hernandez and Co. were raising so much Cain around there you can't believe it... But as I said before and will say again... The affair with the coed was what done him in...the wife yanked him out of there and the university was doing major damage control...you guys mark my words. . Within 2 years he will be coaching again... He will go to a high profile school with a rich football history that has a struggling underperforming program for a few years... They will hire him and put up with his nonsense as long as he wins.. What school that is I have no idea. . USC does fit the bill and they put up with sneaky Pete Carrol and his shenanigans so that is a possibility... Tennessee comes to mind....No doubt he is coaching within 2-3 years...Thats my guess...

I’m with you Roam. Until there is substantial proof capable of holding up in a court of law I won’t opine. That is what the whole “Paterno had to know, he knows and controls everything in State College” taught me. Paterno was doomed by those in Haters Court.

Interesting... not saying I don't believe you, but also not saying I believe 3rd or 4th hand information either.
I've seen situations where girls straight up lie about sleeping with someone, just for attention. Again, not saying this happened here but with only her word it was happening... that's not convincing me or really factual. Just a he said - she said. Of course, if this girl had proof of it that's another thing. What happened at Arkansas and Bobby Petrino, that's being caught red handed. It wasn't just the girl saying she slept with him, they were caught.
Regardless, yeah I head the rumors before... I just care enough about Urban Meyer to pay attention or care.

Plenty of other people corroborate the story as well and it has been written about and there have been no lawsuits filed for slander, liable or disinformation...I know this much...His wife promptly pulled him out of there because of it...You choose to believe what you want to believe...I didn't see Donald Trump screw Stormy Daniels either...I do know he tried to pay her a lot of money to keep her mouth shut about it...If a tree falls in the forest and nobody hears it did the tree fall? I do know that his wife caught him and the University did what they could to squash the story and protect their rear ends...I can tell you that ole cousin Urban didn't leave the U of F because of a heart problem and he didn't leave Ohio State because of health issues either...I also made my prediction and I am going to stick by it because this is his M.O...I stated what I know to be true and factual and well documented...Ya'll do with the information as you see fit but if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, swims like a duck and sh*ts like a duck its a duck in my eyes...
