Horrible loss. PSU is no longer relevant in the conversation including elite programs.

Who said we were relevant in that conversation? Even Franklin admitted a year or two ago that we weren't elite, no one was saying we were.
Ohio State is the only elite program in the Big Ten, and until we beat them consistently... or at least split 50/50, we aren't elite.
True that nobody said we are not elite but today's performance was inexcusable and we are barely relevant.
The D played well overall. Clifford may have played the worst game of his career. The penalties seriously need to be cleaned up. But if we make only 1 of 3 field goal attempts--1 a chip shot, 1 very makeable, and the 3rd a long shot--we leave Bloomington with a win.
@mean-green-lion. Clifford did step up in crunch time and even though the defense did play good, they didn’t. James Franklin just screwed up and I’m sure he’s sick about it.
For as shitty as the offense played the game, this was still a W after the Shaka Toney show. D Ford made a major blunder by scoring. Otherwise no matter how ugly it was, the game was in the bag. I thought this was going to be a tough game for the reason that Indiana was supposed to be good this year. No, Indiana didn't look at all good to me and we just stunk it up. I didn't look at the box score but I think at one point we even tripled their total yardage. Also I know I'm biased but Journey is a difference maker with his speed. Defenses have to account for it and respect it which opens up other things,
PSU cannot keep being everybody’s significant win.
hey hey, ho ho, James Franklin has got to go
