The post Bye week let down.
But we once again open B1G play on the road.
If we were playing Ohio St or Michigan I could see how it might be a concern but Illinois, Indiana, Purdue and Wisconsin are very average football teams. We lost to Indiana but that’s because the coaches had a brain fart and then the defense couldn’t get the stop in crunch time.
Yea but early fall games are just so much nicer at Happy Valley.
You have a point there, Southern. It really pees me off because after all these years we're still considered the stepchild by the B1G powers that be.

It's a tough row to hoe, Southern. Bad enough we have to play in the toughest division, but we have to fight the B1G refs & schedule makers as well as share the tunnel at the Big House, lol.
Also the Illinois game is the third game of the season so I don’t see anything wrong with it. I could be wrong so it’s just my opinion.
You're not wrong, Southern. Being it's the 3rd game, we should be alright, but I still don't like it - it's the principle. We open B1G play away too many times for it to be a coincidence!
@rip Indiana, Purdue, Illinois are gifts to open up with in the big 10 these are teams we should beat with the game over midway through the third quarter. Wisconsin I can maybe give ya but they were even average at best last year. I guess I’ve always thought the refs and Jim Delany were more of a threat than playing on the road against Indiana regardless when the game is 😂. Bob, if I go to work and complain about opening the season at Purdue the dudes I work with will laugh at me 😂

Quite a few videos surfaced of James Franklin standing in the tunnel. Provoking the incident rather than getting the players to locker room.
