Wow
We’ll deal with you after the game snakeoil.....we’re kicking Pittsburgh azz at the moment! Lol
Did PSU improve or was Pitt that bad?
Both. We improved but Pitt was poorly coached
I personally thought Pitt should’ve kicked the FG to take a 9-7 lead. We stopped them and it fired us up and the butt kicking started. You’re right Roam bad coaching on Pittsburgh side and great coaching on our side. I say great because we were holding McSorely back last night from running the ball because Stevens is hurt so really we killed them kind of playing handy capped?
Southern, good observation on McSorely not running very much last night, I was wondering why that was, but it makes sense. Was that an observation on your part, or did you hear that from an "anonymous source?" LOL
I just connected the dots when I heard Stevens was not fully dressed out. McSorely could’ve run for 100 yards if he wanted too. We also left 100 yards on the field by not catching the ball. McSorely could’ve had 350 yards had we caught the ball. McSorely played very good last night
Oh I get it now lioninsa lol
Not sure if I would completely agree about the reason McSorely was not running. First, he was running in the 2nd half. Second, he can be injured any where on the field. You saw what happen when a Pitt player was called for roughing the QB. That was a pretty hard hit standing in the pocket. Third, with Stevens sidelined, they still had Clifford available. And he's no slouch at QB! You saw why I was calling for him in the 4th quarter. As an aside, did you watch Nebraska game? Martinez leaves the game with a leg injury and Frost sends in a walk on Sophomore QB! Now there is some confidence in your players.
You might be right mb but they looked very conservative with McSorely to me. Maybe in the 2nd half they turned him loose some because you got to do what you have too to win. Early it just looked like he didn’t want to run to me. Bottom line 51-6 mb lol
How'd that work out for Nebraska?
Why run your QB if you don't have to. The passing game was there all night, our WRs just kept dropping the ball. Time for so heavy hand drills this week...
