Allow me a little space here to post about non football but these are extraordinary times. How is everybody doing? Southern, I'm curious to know what your day is like as a driver, likely one of the most important jobs at this time to keep our supply chain open. Roam, how about you? How is your daughter? Anyone else? Everyone feeling good? If not, what's going on? What do you do with yourself for the day while we are trying to hunker down? As for me, we spend a few days a week to watch our grandson while their parents are (fortunately) at work. It's a labor of love and we are fortunate to do this. I thought about this and the cyber friendships developed over this sight made me realize how fortunate I am to have this and appreciate the work Cave has done to bring us all together. Funeral Director, if you are reading this, please come back. I sincerely hope you are not too busy during these days.
lol Believe it or not, I've been practicing "social distancing" for years. Only have one reported case in our county & that poor fool was driving through & thought he was sick. He picked possibly the worst run hospital in the state to stop at. 1/2 hr east, south or west and he'd have been all set...& we wouldn't have any positives. Not much has changed in my lifestyle, other than no Fri night pizza. (Lil' Suzy is freaking out about the whole thing, so no take out food) Parents and kids are all fine so far.
Did get to see something that was a 1st for me. A bald eagle and a buzzard in my back field, in a tussle over a groundhog that one of my dogs killed. They were back and forth for close to 4 hrs. The buzzard finally got it, but I'm thinking the eagle gave up because the dog had already eaten most of it the day before.
I’m wide open gettin stops off but the traffic is WAY down. What would be normally a 2 or 3 hr drive I’m doing in 1hr maybe a little longer. Still a little traffic but it’s dead compared to what it usually is. Stay safe buddy
Everything is fine here. Since both my wife & I are retired, we're pretty used to doing nothing! No direct effect from the virus so far, Thank God. Hope everyone stays safe.
@been-there-ii So far everything is ok work wise. A little less action up here with all the business being closed or open less hours during the day. Hopefully this gets over with and moving back to normal.

All good here Lake! I am fortunate that I can work remotely, so no need to be out and about. My company actually told all of us to stay home the next two weeks. I am learning new tricks like Google Hangout and stuff to connect with my clients....thank goodness I have 26 year twins that know this social media stuff inside and out and can help me! My wife and I and the girls are hunkered down at our house and we just watched old movies of them when they very young - where did time go?! Neither are married, so they just decided to hang here for the next two weeks....both can work remotely as well. Just check in on me in about a week. Not used to living with a house full of woman! LOL
Keep the faith, I am sure we will all get through this!!
SPF you take care of yourself. I don't want to be the only Atlanta area person on this forum. I also have been a practitioner of social distancing for years. Luckily my passion for biking is unaffected so far except that the roads are a lot emptier these days. Y'all take care. By the way the Penn State sports site gopsusports.com has a link to send a message to the idled athletes. https://gopsusports.com/sports/2020/3/18/we-can-we-will-we-are.aspx
Hey - i am not from Atlanta, but I do go to Cartersville and Dalton from time to time and I love the Varsity! Does this give me SOME residency? Been going down there for 26 years! Just got back about 4 weeks ago.
Saw the Atlanta Airport on the news yesterday. Never thought there would be a time when terminals were closed...dang.
Be safe!
@psugrad81. I didn't know this site existed, thanks for sharing. I would really like to reach out them if only to show them solidarity.
MtNittanyLion, that is really cool your daughters decided to hang out with you and your wife. That has to have a calming effect for everyone.
Hope everyone is well and staying safe!
2 cases of covid 19 reported in Centre County. Self isolating and watching old PSU football films
