Does anyone else think that Franklin was holding back this team for years, I have thought that for 4 or 5 years.  He always wated RPO type offense and the only time he had the QB to do that was Trace.  Franklin was the person ultimately approving who was recruited why never give recruits like Pribula a chance?

I feel like since we switched to the RPO in 2016 he slowly infected every OC with his run first, "establish the run" mentality. Every single OC got worse every year and looked nothing like the offenses they used to run elsewhere.

I think it’s become obvious that we have under achieved every year during his tenure,

At the very least the program had become stagnant...As painful as this season has been I believe what happened will be the best thing to happen to the program in many years...This hire is going to be the most significant hire in 60 years...Lets hope they get it right...

There is another option, overrated/unreasonable expectations.  We wine about most SEC teams being over rated but ... Lets say that we have under achieved relative to ranking/expectations/hope.  Yes that is obvious.  Well maybe not last year...
