What a game he's having, I can't believe we had him and he looked nothing like this. My lord did we waste talented WR after WR here over the past 5 years. Had 3 guys in the portal this year and nothing again. Our WR coach was truly awful
Thank God that guy is OUT...What a terrible coach...All these WR's leave the program and excel...That tells you it's the coaching and not a talent problem...That staff wasted a lot of talent...Thank God they are all out...I am happy with all the guys they have retained and hope they can't get Grunk to stay put...

The WR coach was terrible...The coaching on the offensive side of the ball by and large were terrible...I have legitimate concerns about this guy making this Iowa State east...I ain't wild about some of these moves he is making...The QB from Iowa State that they are bringing in doesn't excite me...#1 the kid they had was more talented than this kid and he is hitting the portal because he is bringing in his boy...#2 there are much better QB options available in the portal than this kid...That is the 1st issue I have...He wants to bring in more talented WR's than they currently have on the roster is fine...If he has kids from Iowa State he wants to bring in that are upgrades that is fine...What I am seeing is he is turning this into Iowa State east and frankly I don't like it...
@the-funeral-director the players he’s bringing in are in a lot of cases better than the PSU players that left.
ISU has the #1 rated TE in the portal, the #1 CB and the #7 QB and all are projected to land at PSU.
Rocco is the #7 QB in the portal? I must have been watching a different QB at Iowa State last season...He isn't as good as Grunk...That is all I know...They let a better and more talented kid walk to bring in this kid who isn't as good...That is all I know...
@the-funeral-director they also have the #5 safety and a top ten WR that we’re after and I read an article about one of their young O’lineman that a bunch of schools were after but he shut them down and said he’s only looking at PSU right now.

I watched 8 Iowa State games this year...To me this kid is a game manager...He will make the plays he is supposed to make but don't expect anything extraordinary from him...I would say due to his experience he has a higher floor than Grunk but his ceiling is much lower than Grunk's...That is my take on the kid...My opinion is with the proper coaching and time Grunk would have taken the next step in 26...This is a mistake in my opinion...Penn State has a game manager at QB...He isn't a top talent...
