Like Maryland, Purdue will not have the talent to stop Penn State next weekend. Penn State needs to win this game by 30 plus points and play another solid game. I get that they haven't played a top 25 team yet, but being down against Buffalo and then holding off Pitt was valuable experience for this young team. Ohio State hasn't had any close games and they too haven't beat anyone good. I think Ohio State is a better team than Penn State today, but if you ask me, Penn State has experienced more adversity than Ohio State has so far and I think this is going to come into play once both teams get into the meat of their schedule. Right now, Ohio State is getting a lot of great press and they are believing they have a top tier team....and they very well may have one. Personally, I think Penn State has just as many good players and are slowly but surely closing that gap. Â
I guess what I am trying to say is that Ohio State hasn't been uncomfortable in any game so far this year and Penn State has been twice. Experiencing that early in the season gives you something to work on and keeps you humble. If you were at the game last night, you would have been able to see the excitement and the feeling of progress Penn State was starting to taste.  Very energized on the sidelines during time outs!!!Â

I hate this atmosphere in college FB today where you need to "win this game by 30 plus points", but it is what it is 😔 . I'll be happy if they play a solid game and continue improving in all facets, especially the O line. Â

So would we! They may win and they may lose but if we play them it means we had a great season!Â
Those teams might get frostbite in November. Alabama would rather play Western Carolina (2019), UT Martin (2020), and New Mexico State (2021) at home in November. Georgia likes a steady diet of GT in November. Clemson has Wofford (2019), The Citadel (2020) and UConn (2021) at home in November. Oklahoma is the only one of those teams that is obligated to go north in November.Â
1" of snow and nothing moves in Tuscaloosa. They go home at the sight of a flake. They are pretty good with tornados.
Purdue will be missing QB (clavicle) and a receiver for PSU game.
