Beat someone 63-0 and drop in the polls because a team ranked below you beat another team ranked below you due to a missed FG... and jumped you in the rankings.
Makes perfect sense. LMAO
I know the AP polls don't mean anything, but according to them, if Penn State wins too many more games they will drop out of the top ten altogether. mark emmert & jim delaney still have some clout. Small letters for small men!
I have been saying these polls are a farce for years...It's all a tool for them to manipulate who gets into their imaginary playoff...It's tough to take this nonsense seriously...
@forum-titan For what it's worth, the coaches poll gets updated Sun afternoon, well before Remoh posted.

The 4 best teams get picked for playoffs.
Until Penn State dispatches Ohio State and Michigan, it's all smoke and mirrors. But in 1994 Penn State beat Michigan 31-24 and then thumped Ohio State 63-14 only to have Tom Osborne receive a "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the end of the season.
And thus every game with Indiana should result in a thorough and complete beating of the Hoosiers.
To be fair the week we beat Ohio State 63-14, Nebraska did beat the #2 team in the nation by 17 points. So I kinda get why we slipped there.Until Penn State dispatches Ohio State and Michigan, it's all smoke and mirrors. That said, it was a travesty that we didn't get to see PSU vs. Nebraska that year. I believe it's the reason the BCS was created.
