I don’t think Cignetti is coming. It makes no sense for him to leave when he’s already proved he can succeed at Indiana.
IMO, the big money boosters are gonna have a big say in who is coming one way or the other.
At that level, there is a sense and level of competition amongst the wolves; after all that didn't get where they are without eating someone else's dinner.

I don't think it's going to be Rhule...I think they already have their target in their sights...If the real big money power players are fully engaged these guys are privy to a hell of a lot more information than us guys yapping here on this forum...We are going to have to trust their instincts to select the right candidate and support who they bring in to run the program...I don't think a guy like Rhule, Kiffin or Urban Meyer are the right guys for this job...Like a said a couple of days ago...Grab the beer and pretzels boys cause this is going to be entertaining...
@the-funeral-director I don’t know if you saw Ruhles press conference on the B1G Channel but man did his face light up when asked about the Penn State job and he said things like “I love that place “ ‘I was born with a Penn State jersey on” and “ I’ve been a Nittany Lion fan since I was 4”. The guy wants the job bad and had a hard time hiding his excitement.
I'd like to see some ties to PSU at the lower levels. I don't see it at the HC level.
I did see that pressure and the print article tonight...Rhule is a fine coach but I don't think he is the right coach for this job at this time...He doesn't excite me...Is he a good hire...Yes...To me he isn't a great hire or the right hire...You are correct in saying that the money and brain trust are going to decide who they want and hopefully they do their due diligence...I see another James Franklin here to be honest...
@the-funeral-director I believe we will be better on offense with Rhule and as long as we win our fair share of big game I don’t care who the coach is. I also want whoever the new HC is to recruit fudging QB’s that fit the offense we run and fudge the 5* BS! Stars matter but their ass can be benched if it ain’t working!
