Allar has shown that he can make throws that Clifford can’t and Cliff keeps making mistakes that a 6th year player should never make. It’s easy to see why the we want Drew chants can be heard around the stadium.

The ability to make all the throws is not nearly as important as knowing when and where to throw it during a game. Allar has not demonstrated that yet, However I think he will be a very, very good quarterback.

Allar benefited immensely by having the opportunity to watch Cliff & also get in some meaningful playing time. If Cliff goes down, he'll be capable of stepping right in. We won't be in the predicament we were in last year. As you said Southern, it's his team next year, and he'll be ready to show his stuff! Unless, who knows, maybe V will give him a run for his money. We shall see what we shall see.

I wouldn’t say Cliff has excelled at knowing when or where to throw it nor am I saying Allar should be the starter. I do know that what I saw out of Cliff in the 2 games I attended wasn’t good and I doubt Allar would have been any worse.
We should know when the Drew era is going to start after these next 3 games
