Spitting in the face. It happened in the pros and I believe it happened with the Gators. Ejected from the game. Honestly, it should be ejection for the whole season. 0 tolerance. Totally uncalled for and very unsportmanslike.
I don’t know about the whole year but being ejected from the game with a 15 yard penalty and automatic 2 game suspension after that should keep it from happening. It’s just no respect!
Needs to be more of a penalty than throwing a punch. Taking a swing at someone could be a reflex reaction. Spitting on the other hand is usually a premeditated kind of thing. Might just be my opinion, but I know I've never spit on anyone in my life. lol On the other hand, I have thrown some reactionary return punches.

Disagree... not sure while spitting on someone is a worse violation than physically assaulting them.
