@cohappy kiss Grunk goodbye if we get the Missouri coach because both QB’s there will be back at Penn St. I like Grunk and with an offensive scheme that fits his talent I believe he’ll be a great QB. I still believe in DA if he’s in the right offense that fits his skills.

@cohappy I’ve heard them dudes on these podcasts say the same thing but I believe he actually got better especially running the football but he didn’t get good enough to beat the heavyweights. Looking at things today after watching Grunk struggle the first few games which was expected he had to get some meaningful snaps to get better but I believe had DA not got hurt we would’ve beat Iowa and Indiana. We still would’ve lost to Ohio State. I said before the season started DA give us the best chance to win and I still stand by that statement. Jim Knowles and the defense could’ve done better and we still win them games. This is just one of those years where it was always something. The goal is to win these next 3 games and climb back to a winning season and build some momentum for next year.

Welp that is 40 million or so saved so now it really is feasible to buy out one of these big name guys...Like I said anything under 25 million for a buyout is chump change in this current environment of big time college football...
I am going to go out on a limb here Southern...Manny, Fitz and none of the other guys not named Cignetti, Brohm, Hartline, Brady, DeBoure or Elko ain't coming to Penn State...I put Elko on that list because I don't know his buyout number...If his buyout isn't more than 25 million he is in play as well...Look at Kiffin's buyout number and he is being mentioned for every high profile job out there except Penn State...Trust me if the guys that PA Kid and Tsuga mentioned are back in the fold with their wallets Penn State takes a back seat to nobody as far as potential compensation is concerned...I said it yesterday, today and until the next guy is hired that money ain't gonna be an issue...Penn State can compete with any school from a financial standpoint to bring in whoever they want...Money ain't going to be an issue...

Not a big fan of Drinkiwicz (spelling?) or DeBoure...I am not really sure either of them is even in consideration to be honest with you...I really think it is either going to be Cignetti, Brohm, Hartline or Brady...I honestly believe it's one of those 4 and there is already a deal in principle already done...
