Fire James Franklin! ........ and the cucks say "who are you going to hire?" ........ oh I don't know but U-cla figured it out in about 3 days. Not a joke man.
Franklin should not be on the Team plane home. He is incapable of creating a culture of winning. He has a bunch of skilled players. He does not have a TEAM. Fire James Franklin!
If I were the AD, I would tell James to meet me in the lobby, I would tell him that he is done, he is not getting any money, and he is not riding home with the team. James Franklin is a shitbird. He was beaten by #9 and #9 has been a shitbird all season.
His new nicname = No more games James!
It has been said that James is a DEI hire who was hired by a DEI hire and was given an unnecessary raise and contract extension by a DEI hire. I don't know if that is true, but I heard that it has been said. Not a joke man.
His ten sayings are old. We had:
- Win PA (recruiting)
- Go 1-0 (Nueheisel said today)
- Complimentary Football (can someone include coaching in that definition)
- Now he keeps saying things like we are not on the same page, we are missing things... JF this is a senior team, game 5 you don't get to sort things out at half anymore!
Maybe he has only 5 lines we have heard over and over. They are getting old and so are the losses. The admin has given him what he asked for but he has not given the return.
What did I say in a post earlier in the week? Turn the page. This shit has a bad ending I could see it a mile away baby. The running from playing Ohio St and Michigan every year mentality was the start of this shit. Do something to get something good going and let’s get this thing going in the right direction. When you keep having devastating losses it usually leads to a bad ending.
People have noted 2 or 3 times Joe reinvented himself and changed. I have never heard the same of JF. His biggest change is putting the QB under center for a QB Sneak?
We knew we were weak at LB but there is no excuse for that defensive performance and if coaches can't make real time adjustments then they are not performing. Was it evident in the 1st quarter that the QB was going to run and throw quick passes?
At some point you get a losing mentality Southern. What you saw today was a team with a losing mentality change based on leadership?
On the other side you saw a team with a losing big game mentality lose a small game? Leadership has not improved on big games an now...
I am all for firing him but what's this fake Alpha male bullchit calling people cucks and DEI hires and other effing nonsense.
That DEI hire won a BT championship in year 3 under sanctions. He should be fired yes, but have some damn class
I didn't think UCLA could be that bad but they sure did have their day.
Don't know that 'Nico Humiliates PSU' is accurate. PSU participated. He did have a day that dreams are made of.
I agree, Allar played the same if not better than Nico. Our coaches humiliated themselvesI didn't think UCLA could be that bad but they sure did have their day.

Am I a Cuck? What is a cuck? I look it up and it is short for Cuckold, a husband who's wife is unfaithful. Do you know something I don't know? Maybe PSU football is being unfaithful to me?
I'm going to go check my wife's phone now.
Maybe the people who negotiated the unnecessary extension of Franklin's contract were incompetent. It seems that if they were competent, they would have done more to protect the university. Contract law requires that people must be competent to enter into a contract. A couple of quotes from the article and the link to the article follow:
"Franklin signed a sizable 10-year, $85 million contract in 2021 that is slated to go through the 2031 season."
" Despite Franklin's struggles in marquee games, the Penn State head coach does not appear to be going anywhere anytime soon."
James Franklin's contract and buyout sends clear message on Penn State future
Trying my best to be objective. Yes JF did win the B10 in his 3rd year, kind of a tie right? One hold call or other break against ND and we are in the NC last year with an average offense. We had the easiest path.
PSU has come up with the $, the stadium, the high paid coaches etc etc. A loss to Oregon and OSU is one thing but this fiasco today deserves more than JF's typical verbal gymnastics. Hat in hand James. He hasn't taken the next step. Now we have a team that dreamed of the playoffs and a NC with a loss to a top team and a loss to what we wanted to believe was one of the doormats of the B10. It will be interesting what they do the rest of the season and the 'Opt Outs'.
Our record against top 10 teams is abysmal and that has to fall on coaching and the man driving the proverbial ship. Or maybe we are just over rated and not really a Top 10 team yet?
@tae-buetel I don’t believe any of us on here wanted him to get that long of a contract because he’d done nothing at the time to deserve it. We went 4-5 in 2020 and 2021 fell apart after Clifford got hurt with a backup QB that couldn’t hit the backside of a barn and we lost to Illinois.
Maybe Utah, UNLV, New Mexico and Northwestern are awesome teams. Or maybe James Franklin should be sent packing without a buyout. I don't know, what's fair?
Tae, those people hoped based on the data and the market at the time. We were somewhat afraid he would leave for greener pastures. We are not so afraid now. So he is into PSU for over $40M yet? He better not make any errors that allow him to be fired. He did get us out of the Sandusky era.
It is bothersome the number of coaches he has 'developed' that leave PSU? I guess we are not JoePa PSU anymore. We also worry that he does not let these high end coordinators do their job. We have this OSU Star at DC but he had a tough day today. Not his recruits and he is still implementing his D but results are suspect. We have considerable turnover under JF? Is the turnover reasonable? Are the coordinators empowered? Maybe as JF feels the pressure he micromanages more?

To be honest how and why were we ranked in the top ten? We didn’t even play a P4 team in our non conference schedule and lost to the only one we had played.
Because our roster was stacked and had everything going for it except Franklin. He has a Lamboghini and wants to drive it like a pick up truck in a demolition derby. That is litterally what is happeningTrying my best to be objective. Yes JF did win the B10 in his 3rd year, kind of a tie right? His 8 minute post game:
- Missed Assignments
- Turnovers (we had one to start the 3rd that only cost field position)
- Couple times we spied Nico and he ran away from us or we missed the tackle
- Travel
- Not right energy
- Tune out outside noise, stick together
- Missed block on the final play
- Missed Rojas Speed
After all the poor execution comments he softly admitted that he takes responsibility for something...maybe it was not being ready or not recovering from the loss. But still seemed that he mostly blamed execution.
He played down the obvious spy question as we tried and failed 2x. He didn't use the number two but 'couple' and stated two instances.
The one interviewer got him and will never be called on again because they asked 'James, you said you have the best combination of talent and coaching, do you still believe that?' He mumbled something like that is a tough question after 2 losses..... Well James maybe you do have the best combination of players and coaches but the results remain the same, what else could it be James?
He was in control, had his talking points written down as usual, didn't stray.
